Im with Rickyp. I thought Antonio was a wonderfull player who seemed to be a very nice young man. At least that was my take on him.

First of all I do respect anyone who opens there home to a young person to show them a bette way of living. We have to many people in foster care that just do it for the money. Second Im sure we would take a foster kid in if we could some how break the strangle hold of BC on all the good players at the home. I guess foster care only lasts until after bball season if over. If a kid plays baseball does he get to stay a whole year?

Owens definitely got some bad advice. Correct me if im wrong but cant you get a 5th year of playing at a prep school. It just looks really bad to have two studs from the Home come and play ball then disappear after the season is over without graduating. Maybe the people at the home should re-evaluate Boyd County getting the good athletes and send them to another school in the area.

Raceland shouldnt even be on the same field or for that matter the same basketball court, or the same baseball diamond as the mighty Musketeers. Coach Sammons will have his team ready and they will ROLL to victory.

Why is it that most on here like to pick and poke at the RH players but you NEVER see a RH supporter knock on any players from surrounding schools? Maybe you should spend more time coaching your own rather than knocking the kids over at the Hill.

I hear that the tomcats are going to be asked some questions regarding some situations. Did you ever talke to Mr Ballash about old Joe?

Despite all of the hoopla that has surrounded the ability of OJ I think that Coach Smith has hit the nail on the head. How well OJ adjusts when everyone on the court is as big (or bigger) as he is will tell how good a prospect he is for the NBA. Also how well he adjusts to being in an offense istead of just free lancing all the time will decide how happy his one year of college will be. If I were advising him I would have him take the money and run after this high school year either in the NBDL or Europe. More and more high school phenoms are falling out of the first round money after their time in college.

I am told that Rose Hill will vote to seed the district this coming Febuary just so the tcats will have to play. I would think that Fairview would vote to draw with Boyd and the Hill voting to seed. That leaves the tcats. Would they vote to draw just to stay away from playing the Hill during the regular season. Then hope to draw away from them in March.

Maybe there ready maybe there not but the fact is that the people over the King of the Bluegrass saw something they liked. The one thing about the Hill kids is that they will not back down or be in awe of any situation. Win or lose the Hill will be better for playing these type teams and get a ton of exposure in doing it. Maybe Rickyp can get Mark Story to do an article on Rose Hill while we are in Lexington playing Catholic? Im told the Hill has one game left to fill if you know of any tradition rich program that is in need of an easy win.

How about all the players who started somewhere else and ended up in maroon during Armco's glory days.

I agree with scooter Coach Euton should be Coach of the Year. The way she managed all the talent and ego's was very impressive!!!!!!!!!!!

And once again Ward ball and Greenup Co. won the 63rd district tournament. And no one at Raceland should complain about low scoring games won by defense.
