  1. I think they are cashless at the gate. They use GoFan.
  2. You can’t drop 8 and rush 3 in that situation at the end.
  3. Prevent defense prevents you from winning.
  4. Just watched it. How that man is not in jail blows my mind. How he pulled it off for so long blows my mind.
  5. I'm still scratching my head over Dixie sitting on the ball with 1:30 left and 3 timeouts at the end of the first half. Other than that, another great high school game. It’s just unfortunate Dixie came out on the wrong side again.
  6. That makes 0 sense. 2 timeouts and a kicker with a leg. At least get into FG position.
  7. The only impact lacrosse will have on football will be injuries in lacrosse carrying over to the fall as many football players play lacrosse. With it being a spring sport, it will impact baseball somewhat, but for those schools with lacrosse teams, it really hasn't impacted their baseball programs (see Dixie and CovCath).
  8. SK will have success running the ball between the tackles. However, they have zero chance stopping BW.
  9. I think the facemask is clear in the video. When I watched last night, I was looking at the body and ground and didn’t even pay attention to the head. Just saw another video of an official standing right over top of the play who had to have seen it as he wasn’t obstructed.
  10. https://www.fox19.com/video/2023/09/02/final-quarter-9-1-23/ Around the 9:30 mark in the video shows the play. I missed the facemask when watching last night as I was looking at the extension to see if he was down.
  11. That was the 2pt conversion at the end.
  12. Fox19 was in the endzone for the final play. Hard to tell from the angle, but Gregg was fully extended and still off the ground.
  13. Any instant replay on that last play? Lol
  14. Yes, they are kids, but shouldn't they have some basic accountability, something that is severely lacking in today's society? We're not talking about some obscure rule that kids struggle to understand. We're talking the most basic of football rules.
  15. We had the discussion about responsibility last week after 3 Dixie players had to leave the game due to lack of pads. IMO, these kids are old enough to bear the responsibility of being properly equipped as they know what is required. The coaches shouldn't have to go up and down the sideline checking pads and mouthpieces like they do in peewee football.
  16. You're not the only one. I will not buy my boys one of these.
  17. About 20 minutes for an ambulance to show up.
  18. Still 20-8. Hughes player down with a serious injury with 47 seconds left in 3rd.
  19. 3 players removed from the game tonight for lack of pads.
  20. Hughes is small in size and numbers. Just wearing them out. Hughes has speed though, and that is keeping them in the game.
  21. Officials made Gregg leave the game due to no hip pads with a 2nd and goal. I haven’t seen that before.
  22. Dixie had this in place last year too. Parents use these games as free daycare on a Friday night, and that is the issue. Kids are running around the concession and concourse areas, running into people, knocking drinks and food out of people's hands (not necessarily on purpose). Administration steps in, but there's no parent there to take the kid to.
  23. So everyone pushing back and they’re moving it up?
  24. They're on GoFan. Not sure if they're also taking cash.
