I expect this game to be much tighter, at least through 3 quarters. Highlands “ain’t going out like that””. CovCath is fully prepared for a tug of war.

Just glad Highlands finally won a playoff game so CCH can keep building on their streak. In 16, 17, and 19 they couldn’t hold up their part of the bargain that CCH did for a decade which gave the Birds 2 wins every years.

Glad the Bluebirds won. Part of why they had such a long winning streak against CCH is they would beat CCH twice in a season....CCH more times than not would win their playoff games and then lose a 2nd game to the Birds that year. Unfortunately in 16, 17, and 19 CCH did not have that chance to pad their current streak because HHS couldn’t even get to the rematch. Glad they won.

Zion Mason has arrived.

CCH already has a ready good TE whose 1st game this year was the Highlands game. Zion will be a bonus.

Mason, and I disagree. Eddie will find plays to get him in space, and he is the fastest kid on the team. Also a good DB. I just hope they play.

CCH will be adding one next week who has not played all season.

Definitely missed some opportunities, but irrelevant in the big picture. The real season begins whenever the Playoffs begin, and even with all those guys out they played well at times.

Good wake up call for CCH as they have been cruising. Down 21-7 in the 4th, and they finally turned it on with 3 straight TD’s. Couldn’t protect the lead though-practice should be fun this week. Giesler is the real deal as Nally went down early. Really enjoyed watching LexCath play and will be rooting for them in the playoffs.

That was a disappointing game to watch. CCH did lose some key players, but still disappointing with the depth of talent in CCH's 2024 class. Giesler might be a nice bonus for CCH, and looked really good in the JV game on Saturday. Congrats Birds...we went 1-1, and lets see where it goes from here.

I don't think Lickert would do much to change their success. He was a premium target about a decade ago.

Dale Mueller is the only person that comes to mind for me.

Have to agree: Offense- touchdowns on 4 of 5 1st half drives with the one drive ending in a INT that was returned to the 5 yard line. Defense-only points given up were off that same interception where SK moved it 2-3 yards on 3 plays and CCH forced a FG.

That is just it and the difference from years past. Also a promising future coupled with some Frosh who can help in a big way next year.

Jones and Sullivan are every bit as big as they are listed. I look for Jones to be about 240-245 when he is is a Senior playing linebacker.
