Great game defensively for the Golden Eagles. The Lions did not score an offensive touchdown. Their first score came on the opening kickoff 94 yards for the TD. Their final score came on the first play of the second half when Ian Welch fumbled...BC picked it up and took it in from 25 yards out. Three fumbles in the game for the Golden Eagles all of which were recovered by Boyd County. Two of those came on the sloppy end of the field. For the game... If that was the intention...it most definitely backfired.

I know you were not talking to me.... But, I believe that changing a routine that a team is used to can hurt a lot. I am guessing that this is not standard practice for BS. It can be very difficult to keep a group of teenagers focused when they are sitting in a hotel room on Friday when they are used to being in class.
