  1. JC by two touchdowns...at least.
  2. UMM...I believe the Tomcats travel to Johnson County next week.
  3. I figured this score would be much more lopsided.
  4. 50-0 vs. 49-7...I can see how the disparity in those two scoring margins could shock you. :thumb:
  5. Now it's Letterman... :madman: :madman: :madman:
  6. I got Frinday Night Lights as well
  7. That may be true...but I really don't think it will matter. Ashland will roll in this one.
  8. I won't be so bold as to say JC can win state...but the district shouldn't be much of a problem.
  9. I must have missed that comment.
  10. Considering the speed at which the new Cal Ripken fields were completed this spring, I would think that the new facilities...at least the football field and stadium...would be completed by next season.
  11. I agree. I would love to see JC beef up its schedule in the near future. But, we play the cards we are dealt and all JC can do is beat the teams that are on the schedule. It's not really Johnson Central's fault that the district is so weak, Just take care of business on the field boys and this will be a season to remember.
  12. Hey...maybe it will be a dome facility and they can call it "The Big O"
  13. Got to step out for a bit...Congrats Eagles
  14. The clock continues to run even in between quarters...never seen that before
  15. Grimm scored from 20 yards out...extra point is good 256 yards 6 TD JC 56 PHS 0
  16. 3rd quarter about half over...running clock...JCHS Driving...on the Tigers 20 yard line JC 49 PHS 0
  17. From the information given before the Apple Bowl, both the football field and the baseball field are going to be rotated. Both fields will have turf. The impression I got was that everything was going to be torn down and built again. I can guarantee you one thing though...it will be nice!!!
  18. That kind of stuff always happens as you know. I'm not saying it's right...I'm just saying it's part of the rivalry.
  19. Personally, I would not go that far. But, I hope we get the chance to find out. :thumb:
  20. I agree 100%. We really have no idea how good JC is because of the competition they have played. I do know this...schedules are usually made a couple of years in advance with usually a home and home for each team. A lot of the games on this year's schedule were the second game of a home and home. So, it was hard to do anything about this year's schedule. With the realignment next year and the home and home contracts ending, there will be more open dates due to a smaller district and coach Matney will have an opportunity to toughen up the schedule. Also, JC has had a problem with teams cancelling on them and then having to scramble to find an opponent. So, I have no problem with people questioning the strength of this team. However, I believe that JC has what it takes to make a strong run in the playoffs. All of this talk about whether JC could beat the top three teams in the AP Poll is nonsense. I just hope we have the opportunity to find out.
  21. I know this really isn't that big of a deal...but, it was not the first round of the playoffs...it was the second.
  22. LOL...I will take the responsibility for that...sorry guys. I just hope that no one gets hurt in this game. But, I still hope JC hangs 100 on the Tigers. :sssh:
