I believe you have your facts long. I remember watching the Sweet 16 and Hicks being a senior and playing great during the tournament.

Any updates on Pawsatt? I heard he tore his MCL. I also seen on another site it said he was out for the basketball season, but with an MCL I can't imagine that being the case. I hope he is back on the court soon!

The districts in central Ky change every year (or atleast the last 3). Why can't this have been changed at the start of the year? This makes absolutely no sense! Its like when they first went to 6A the plan was for Harlan Co. to be 6A and be in a district with Madison Central, Scott Co, and Shelby Co. I believe. That would have been ridiculous!

Hundley graduated in 2000. I meant from the 2000-01 season on.

Wise choice! The park is a great place to stay the night. I don't believe you'll be dissapointed in the area!

I think one thing to worry about with more than 1 middle schools is getting good coaching and fundamental work for everyone. On the other hand if the number of kids out for football is going to be large its good to have more than 1 team to develop more kids.

Rondo played through his junior year. I believe he only played one year at Oak Hill. I'm just not sold on putting OJ Mayo in front of any of those guys I have listed based solely on what he did before even getting to high school compared to what they did in their careers. Also, I never saw Doellman play in high school so I just can't really comment on him at all. As for Obannon, thats another great player from this decade!

See I knew I forgot some great players! I would replace Proffit on my list with Neltner and have Neltner in my top 15.

Well Graham has had a successful college career and was a great athlete. And Hicks' performance his senior year in the Sweet 16 was one of the best I have ever seen all around. He did pretty much everything for his team.

The question is was he good enough as an 8th grader to be considered a top 15 player this decade? I know he was really good, but I don't know if he was that good yet. Which I didn't see him play a whole lot as an 8th grader, probably 3 or 4 times.

With it almost 2010 and the new decade about to start, looking back who are the top 15 players of this decade? I'll throw a lot of names out there and no doubt forget a couple good ones. I guess some guidelines would be playing from 2000-01 season through the 2008-09 season. I think preseason-wise Scott Co, LexCath, and Tates Creek are the top 3 as of right now.

If you read my post I would said in no particular order. Now, at the same time Corbin lost some really good players. I'd say Corbin and South Laurel are very close and some people will probably pick Corbin over SL and SL over Corbin

Bell Co. was without Carton tonight. Hes a had a great season. He was out with an injury, but I heard it wasn't too bad. Also, Matt Rains was injured in the 1st half. Hes a key player for Bell, but I think hes okay. Those 2 are great players for Bell and will be key guys in the playoffs for us.

A lot of times kids leave for reasons other than staing loyal to their program. I don't mind what anyone does as long as its legal and not against the rules.

Unless he changes his mind the recruiting process is over for Johnson. He is committed to Ohio U.

I understand what your saying. I wasn't trying to assume that. I just hope thats not the case with this young man. I don't understand why he isn't eligible since he is a freshman. Is it because he played varsity at Dunbar last year?

Speaking for myself I did not bother me at all. I felt good the rest of the day after practicing. I would be against doing it everyday, but on occasion I think it is good.

But they are freshmen. And they don't have a whole lot in front of them. I would guess this will be the weakest Madison Central team in the last 10 years anyways. But they'll be top-notch again before long. No offense to the Madison Central fans, but its comical to have them 5th and have Tates Creek at 7th.

I wasn't talking about LexCah necessarily. I was talking about being at a different school every year. I am not accusing LexCath of doing anything wrong. I just hope he doesn't have the wrong people persuading him to go to all these different schools every year.
