Who does everyone think has the best chance of winning Mr. Basketball this year?

I would say R. Johnson of Holmes and G. Guyn of Scott County are the clear cut favorites with Pittman from Holmes right behind them.

Ricardo Johnson has to be the favorite. He is the reigning MVP of the State Tourney, been to the state Final 4 two years in a row, and will be a favorite to win the tourney again this year. He has to be the front-runner out of the gate!

A problem there could be people watching those teams and picking different guys for the award. Like if Johnson and Pittman are both having big years they may split a lot of the votes. The same could be said for Guyn and Jackson.

If Josh Sewell has a great year coming out of Louisville he will need to be considered, especially since Guyn and Johnson are surrounded by so much talent

I don't see how you can give it to a walk-on when you'll have several D1 players on solid teams. If Justice can lead Shelby Valley to a very good season and deep in the state tourney, then maybe but Johnson, Guyn, and Sewell and the Etown kid(Washington?) will have to be considered.

If he gets it, it should be because his play on the court. Not because hes going to walkon at UL. That should have nothing to do with it.

If you go by colleges then that is an easy one there; Washington from Etown smoked everyone by going to USC! Justice does have an decent shot at it. This year appears to be wideout with no dominate players.
