Herbstreit Challenge: Ohio vs USA
I would love to see De La Salle play.
-
Highlands 49 Southwestern 14
That's about what I expected. Highlands is going to be hard to beat in 3A. Bowling Green would probably be the best matchup in the finals. Of course, we have a long way to go before then.

Valley 32 Fairdale 12
They are making some noise in the district, they have a good shot at making the playoffs this year.

Southwestern @ Highlands... Predictions
I think you will be the one who is upset when you see the score.
-
Central 56 Bullittt East 16
It was. BE made too many mistakes, and Central was just too fast.
-
Central 56 Bullittt East 16
Easily the best team in the district and probably the region.
-
Valley 20 North Bullitt 12
Maybe. There is no doubt who the best team in the district and probably the region is. After that, it looks like 4 teams (East, North, Valley, and Waggener) are battling for 3 spots.

Bullitt East - Central
It could happen if BE turns the ball over. Central has thrived on turnovers so far this year.

Bullitt East - Central
A correction on the injury for Central, Huguley is fine. The player that was injured was #83 Stefan Robinson. He broke his arm on a reverse. I saw it on tape, he tried to break his fall and as he went to the ground all his body weight ended up on the arm. Best of luck to him in his recovery.

That doesn't make much sense.

Bullitt East - Central
mh2356, Central has never won at BE. BE has won the home games; 35-14, 27-6, and 27-15. BE leads the overall series 5-3. This game will be a slugfest, it always is when these 2 teams get together. Also, don't look for this game to go away with the realignment next year. If the schedules can be worked out, both sides are interested in keeping the series going. No sense in putting an end to a good thing. If you can make it to Mt. Washington Friday, get ready to see one of the most physical high school games you've witnessed. This game is always intense, it will be a playoff atmosphere.

Bullitt East 38 Jeffersontown 7
I would say Central is probably the favorite to win the district. Friday will go a long way in determining the district race as Central plays at BE. The other key games in the district are the games between Central and North Bullitt and BE and North Bullitt. It's way too early to tell who will have home field in the playoffs.

Bullitt East 38 Jeffersontown 7
You would really be shocked then. In the first half, BE had 2 timeouts left. J-town had the ball with 2 minutes to go, and BE let them run the clock out without stopping it.
-
Beth Haven 90 Evangel Christian 40
Wow. Now that is running up the score. Stuff like that will come back to haunt that coach. That is completely uncalled for.
-
Central 36 Valley 0
I'm not worried about that. BE knows if they aren't ready for that game, they will lose. I doubt Central will overlook the game either.
-
Central 36 Valley 0
Central better not overlook BE.
-
Central 36 Valley 0
Central 36 Valley 0. I'm not sure why, but this game ended late.
-
Bullitt East 38 Jeffersontown 7
BE was up 28-0 at the half. BE returned the opening kickoff of the 2nd half for a TD. BE cleared the bench after that and coasted to final score. Now it comes time for a huge game, Central vs. BE. This will be the 1st home game of the year for BE.

Is Boyle really down?
In terms of pure talent, they are down. If you look at the number of kids that went D1 in the championship years and compare that to last year and this year, they aren't as good. However, they have enough talent and are they are very well coached. That leads to success. They may not challenge for a title every year, but they won't be far off either.

Bullitt East vs. Jeffersontown predictions
Very true. I'll go with a bit of a let down as the young Chargers try to learn to be consistent. BE 27 J-town 14.

Paul Dunbar vs PRP
Let's keep it going then PRP 21 Dunbar 7

Paul Dunbar vs PRP
How about Big 3 and Medium 1. Just to clarify, I'm referring to X, Trinity, Male, and Manual. We've got a PRP guy now, but where are fans of the other good programs? I would think Ballard, Central, Waggener, etc. would have some fans, but I really don't recall seeing them on here.
-
Paul Dunbar vs PRP
Other than the Big 4, the Louisville schools don't have much representation here. It's a shame, because there are other good teams in Louisville. PRP is certainly one of them.

Your Teams Biggest Win?
In 2001, Bullitt East beat Bullitt Central 86-0, it was 64-0 at halftime. BC had 9 turnovers that game. BE cleared the bench, but it didn't matter.
