Charger1 Posted September 2, 2006 Posted September 2, 2006 BE was up 28-0 at the half. BE returned the opening kickoff of the 2nd half for a TD. BE cleared the bench after that and coasted to final score. Now it comes time for a huge game, Central vs. BE. This will be the 1st home game of the year for BE.
mh2365 Posted September 2, 2006 Posted September 2, 2006 Good game again. Defense is looking better every week. Big test next week.
CharlieWeis Posted September 3, 2006 Posted September 3, 2006 BE cleared the bench after that . . . Wow. I would have to see that to believe it!! I am used to them using all of their timeouts, kicking onside kicks, and faking punts . . . Of course, in preparation for the playoffs.:sssh:
Charger1 Posted September 3, 2006 Author Posted September 3, 2006 You would really be shocked then. In the first half, BE had 2 timeouts left. J-town had the ball with 2 minutes to go, and BE let them run the clock out without stopping it.
Rebel88 Posted September 4, 2006 Posted September 4, 2006 Wow. I would have to see that to believe it!! I am used to them using all of their timeouts, kicking onside kicks, and faking punts . . . Of course, in preparation for the playoffs.:sssh: That would sound like some very good things to work on in the regular season while you have the chance. I would want to know what I can pull out of my bag of tricks come playoff time when the season may be on the line. Of course this is from the Chuck Smith school of thinking. And we all know what his ideas brought to Boyle Co. Only 5 straight State champioships and an appearance in the 6th.
Rebel88 Posted September 4, 2006 Posted September 4, 2006 Is Bullit East picked to win their district? How about the playoffs, will they have the home field advantage should they keep winning? Just curious, I know they had a very good team last year when they ousted my Rebels.
Charger1 Posted September 5, 2006 Author Posted September 5, 2006 I would say Central is probably the favorite to win the district. Friday will go a long way in determining the district race as Central plays at BE. The other key games in the district are the games between Central and North Bullitt and BE and North Bullitt. It's way too early to tell who will have home field in the playoffs.
LUCK Posted September 5, 2006 Posted September 5, 2006 I am not sure East is as tough as they were last year. I will give them the nod at home. East 24 Central 21.
