Did anybody else hear a few fans yell C-A-T-S, Cats!Cats!Cats! when JB was walking between 18 and the scorer's table? I was so tickled for him, leading the tourney, getting all those high fives and then hearing the chant, I got real choked up for a few seconds. Who needs 4 or 5 hours of Super Bowl pregame? I'm watching John Bradley Holmes.!!!

I would like to congratulate Tyler as well. I had the pleasure of meeting him on a recruiting visit with my son. Looks like a really solid player and a very nice young man as well. Good luck at West Point!!!!

Thanks a lot, we got a phone call from Louisa today...the grandparents-to-be. With their ties to Union, and yours to Campbellsville, it feels like 'old home week'. This is better than I expected. I think I smell a tailgate party!!! We'll be there, see you in the fall!!!

His uncle was the first phone call he made to share the news. Then grandparents, they are all thrilled with his decision. Dad has to be out of town on Wednesday and Thursday, so Zach will sign on Friday, 1:45 at Covington Catholic. :dancingpa

Phil Cox was the first player to come to mind when I saw the title of the thread. Since Phil is around my age, his shooting was prior to the 3-point line.

My two cents worth: Since I haven't seen an early spring tournament north of the Georgia border that was a "classic"...inclement weather, short innings by pitchers, timing still not there by the hitters, etc. I'll leave classic out of the title and go with something a little more fun. Henry, sorry it has taken me a while to post about the article in the paper. It was really nice, just hit on a BAD day for me. I had not had a really good cry after our loss to LexCath (Z's injury had taken center stage for me) but the Friday of your game with them was having real potential to be the day. I was having a gift wrapped at the new Crestview Hills Town Center. Football is such a priority, it was my first trip there. The Post was delivered while I was standing waiting, I looked down, while I was extremely pleased for you, the tears just began to roll down my face. It took me a few days to read the article. Carry on the tradition!!!!
