How many get a PGA card?

Do some get a Nike (or whatever it is called) card?

Top 30 and ties earn their PGA Tour card.

The next 50 finishers get full privileged Nationwide (former Nike) tour cards.

The rest of the 165 (now 164, Pat Bates withdrew after his robust 81) get conditional privileges on the Nationwide.

Okay.

Now how does one qualify to qualify?

I'm guessing you can't just show up. Is there local qualifying like in the US Open and what about guys that once played on the PGA or Nationwide tour?

Do they get special consideration? And could say Wie or Creamer attempt to get a card?

You must apply for Q-school....if you do not have certain qualifications you may not be excepted to even play first stage.

There is also ways to become exempt from first stage and start in second stage....previous PGA wins, etc...(to many to list)...

Where are the 6 rounds being played? Are all rounds on the same course?

Yesterday they played on two courses in Orlando, FL: Panther Lake and Crooked Cat.

You flip back and forth on the courses that h.s.s.b mentioned in the six days.

Looks like Holmes started with an Eagle on his first hole but before he made the turn he went double, bogey, birdie.

Great back nine.....back to back 69's currently tied for 2nd :thumb:

Great job by Holmes again today. A long way to go, but he is in good position. Kudos to Alex Cejka on a huge move today.

I think I heard on WKYT last night that Long John is currently 2nd.
