If it’s Jody Demling calling it he literally grew up on Trinity’s campus. It would be tough to not lean Trinity. He’s a great announcer and sports guy.

Louisville lost a good one! He is big strong fast and brings a ornery streak. He was the most talented lineman I have seen in several years.

There was no lack of facilities or support for the program at X at any time. Hopefully a lot of work has gone into this search over the last year.

Atherton’s squad is substantially different from last year and Bailey isn’t on Bowling Green’s roster. I watched Atherton twice this year against Manual and North Oldham. They went toe to toe with Manual and absolutely crushed North Oldham. The Ravens are a good football team with lots of speed and more size than in years past.

Years back St X played home games at Manual stadium and Trinity’s field was literally all sand. All three are pretty high places now!

You might give the students a pass on the Thursday night games but last week was pitiful.

X needs to show up focused and take care of business. Round 2 has been rough lately.

I think the first round butt kicking discourage kids from playing the next year. It hurts football. A kids last memory of the season is driving home from getting destroyed. no one benefits from an uncompetitive game where kids get embarrassed and hurt.

No dog in this fight but the officials can’t seem to see North Oldham egregiously holding on just about every offensive play directly in front of them.

Are the third round games determined by RPI or a set bracket? I understand the fourth round is reseeded but what happens in round 3?

If a player gets a personal foul for unsportsmanlike like conduct it hurts the whole team and the school should be embarrassed and address it with the kid. If the band director and band gets a penalty on the football team for unsportsmanlike lconduct the school should be embarrassed and hammer the band director. I assume the director is an adult? It’s not hard to follow the rules regardless of what atmosphere you want. And if you want an atmosphere that violates the rules that's an institutional problem. the coach admitted he wasn’t perfect but those kids on the field need to know he wasn’t going to stand for the band hurting their team.

From the Courier article it sounded like the coach was upset at the band and was upset he was told by the AD he should ask the band director “nicely” not to play at inappropriate times. Coach then got frustrated at the AD because it’s the AD’s job to have that Conversation. At least that’s what I gathered from the CJ.
