Post game, I agree with Frank. Highlands was definitely the huge underdog. 17-7 at half Highlands. 54-6 ALL COOPER after that!! Go Jags!!!

If we're gonna play the what if game, we can go ahead and include the two turnovers Cooper had inside the 5 yardline and count those as touchdowns and the Jags win going away.

If you want to beat the best in the end, play the best in the beginning.

The strength of this Ryle defense is their front 6. Very good defensive line and very good linebackers. Good luck establishing the run without an effective pass game.

Ryle played a brutal 1st 6 game schedule and it helped them figure out what they did well, what they needed to adjust, and showed them who they were. They got some pieces back from injury and are clicking at the right time. Hopefully Savage is close to 100% for this week and the Raiders can continue to represent Union KY along with the Cooper Jags.

Highlands is a very good football team regardless of the location of this game. What you're going to find out in less than 2 hours is that WOFO doesn't have the line on either side to hold up for 48 minutes with the Birds.

It would be difficult to find a worse one, to be fair.

South Oldham is the #8 RPI team in 5A. They were a good football team. They popped a couple plays on the Cooper defense and scored on a KO return. In the post season the name of the game is survive and advance. Jags are 1-0 this week, looking to go 1-0 next week vs Scott County. No easy games. Everybody better pack a lunch.

Unfortunately, it seems this game is already over. Goodin has accounted for 90% of the Collins offense this season.

According to the stats, Jack White hasn't played for Highlands since the Cooper game.

I understand the argument here, and if you go north across the river you will see the OHSAA has 1 upped KY in that 64 teams get into the playoffs in each division now. So you regularly have teams with 2 or 3 wins making the playoffs as a 16 seed and getting blown out by a 10-0 1 seed team. 4 regions per division, 16 teams make it in each region, 7 divisions in Ohio. It has definitely watered down the accomplishment of qualifying for the playoffs over there.

Friday against Lex Cath Scott County appeared to sustain a couple more injuries. Their leading rb #26 went out with injury and did not return. Also #14 tried to play but did not appear to be 100%. Buddy Collins (#5) did play Friday and made a couple impact plays on the offensive side. If Scott County is 100% this week, I don't see them losing to Conner, though I do think they will struggle against Conner's offensive attack. If they're as banged up as they seem to be, they could be in for another battle like they just faced with Lex Cath.

If the top 4 take care of business, we'll get to find out what the order really is.

Agreed. SK gave up 45 to Great Crossing who Ryle just beat 38-6. SK gives up a ton of points and Ryle will be the best team they've played. The only way Ryle doesn't put up 70 is if they choose not to do so.
