If the top 4 take care of business, we'll get to find out what the order really is.

So exciting!!  I can't wait.

You guys can have the rest, I'll take BG/South Warren to wear the crown.

No way would I ever count Cooper out this year and Highlands is not far behind in my mind.

Kentucky high school football has been great this year!

I feel strongly that it’s the year of the Jaguar in 5A. I still believe that the champ is the champ until beaten, but this is the best year for it to happen if it’s going to.

I don't buy into the champ is the champ way of thinking.

I am super excited about 5A this year because I think there are four mostly equal teams at the top.

In terms of equality I agree. This is probably the closest the top four has been in 5A maybe ever under the six class alignment.

Highlands sure has not earned much respect in Lexington; the Herald Leader has them 7th.

Maybe the unimpressive opener against a mediocre Lex Cath ?‍♂️

The Herald Leader is about the last place I would go for competent information on Kentucky High School Football.

I can buy it if it's Boyle County working on five in a row, but not Bowling Green this year in 5A.

Regarding Cooper.... I'd like to see it happen just to give this class a fresh look, but Alexander's status has tempered my enthusiasm a bit.

Hard to disagree on Boyle but I think we both agree Boyle County is the exception, not the rule.
