  1. Shocked they weren’t a little more active. I thought for sure Singer was out of here as well as Tyler Stephenson. Glad they aren’t, but surprised the Reds didn’t deal more.
  2. Misspoke. 3 of the next 4 at home. LV, at Chicago, NY, Dallas.
  3. Definitely. They are far and away the best team in the league, as their record (25-6) indicates. Not unbeatable, but really good.
  4. Minnesota 108 Indiana 100 Kelsey Mitchell leads all scorers with 37. Fever cut a 15 point lead down to 1 late in the fourth quarter but ran out of gas at the end of a long west coast road trip. Indiana starts a 4 game home stand on Thursday against Las Vegas.
  5. Oh, I saw it. Definitely a foul that wasn’t called. But I can see why the broadcast team didn’t dwell on it.
  6. Going to guess they get tired of talking about fouls. Seems like every call is analyzed like a Bigfoot siting. Who fouled who when and did they mean to hurt someone and will it be upgraded?
  7. Clark becomes the fastest to reach 1500 points and 500 assists in W history. 74 games.
  8. Indiana 112 Portland 98 Caitlin Clark with the triple double (26 points, 10 assists, 10 boards) leads the Fever to extending their WNBA record of 5 straight games of 100+ points. Kelsey Mitchell also nets 26, scoring 20+ for the 13th straight game. Portland was led by Bridget Carlton who also had 26. Indiana moves to 19-10 on the year and into 4th place in the standings. Up next, at league leading Minnesota on Sunday.
  9. Indiana took a little while to recover from losing Aliyah Boston in the second quarter to a leg injury. Tripped over another player and her knee his the floor rather hard. Hopefully nothing too serious, but having her out kind of messed up the Fever rhythm for a little bit.
  10. And somehow, it always seemed to rain. At least during the years I was there. Want to end a drought, have Cov Cath and Boone schedule a game.
  11. From last night: Indiana 105 Seattle 95 Caitlin Clark score 32 to lead the Fever. Kelsey Mitchell adds 28 (her 12th straight game with 20+) Natisha Hiedeman leads Seattle and all scorers with 33. 12th time Indiana has topped the 100 point mark on the season, which leads the W.
  12. NY Liberty Center Jonquel Jones, for Team Spoon, scores 22 and grabs 12 rebounds to take the MVP honors. Team Coop's Kelsey Mitchell leads all scorers with 28. Team Coop's Dominique Malonga scored 12, including the first in-game dunk since 2022. Unlike the game a couple years ago, when the WNBA all-stars were playing the USWNT, this was more like an all star game. Little to no defense until the fourth quarter. Players hoisting 3s from all over (Caitlin Clark was 5-15 from 3, most of them from the logos. Marina Mabrey was 9-21, several from logo distance). Shockingly, only 10 fouls called.
  13. Guessing Bronny James is headed there and they will be forced to waste a draft pick on Bryce....so they better win.
  14. All the articles I've read regarding the recent layoffs all seem to center on MCAfee and Stephen A being the top talent at ESPN and their contracts are of the utmost import for the channel and that wing of Disney. Personally I don't watch or listen to sports talk on the radio or TV. If it isn't a live game, I hardly watch ESPN at all. Usually just the 30 for 30s.
  15. ESPN is cutting ties with Ryan Clark, Cam Newton and Karl Ravech (a 33 year ESPN MLB vet) among others in their latest round of firings. https://www.thebiglead.com/updated-list-espn-nfl-network-layoffs/
  16. The "hot shot" Vandy QB didn't even make it to a training camp. https://www.yahoo.com/sports/nfl/article/qb-diego-pavia-waived-by-ravens-shortly-before-training-camp-begins-203407212.html Wonder if any team out their will take a look.
  17. I'm sure they are probably operating on next to no promotional budget.
  18. Indiana 123 Connecticut 88 Fever set a franchise record for points in a game. Caitlin Clark leads the way with 27 (and 11 assists.). Kelsey Mitchell puts in 23 and Aliyah Boston adds 22. Sun are led by Diamond Miller with 15. Connecticut was missing Britney Griner, but I don't think it would have helped much. After the game got as close as 26-24 in the first quarter, Indiana just ran the Sun out of the arena. This is the final game before the All-Star game this weekend (Clark, Mitchell and Boston are all in the game). Next regular season game will be on Tuesday, at Seattle.
  19. Most people don't know the name, but they know his famous saxophone sound on the Pink Panther theme. A member of the famed LA session musicians known as "The Wrecking Crew", Plas played on hundreds if not thousands of tracks over his career. In addition to the Pink Panther, his other famous contribution was the piccolo part on "Rockin' Robin" https://people.com/plas-johnson-saxophonist-behind-the-pink-panther-theme-solo-dead-at-94-12024011 RIP to a legend.
  20. Drove past the Kyle’s Ln. location the other day. They had the dumpsters in the parking lot and it looked like they were gutting the place. I’m assuming the one on 3L is open or close to opening?
  21. Via Wikipedia: “The Lightning forfeited the remainder of their 2026 season on June 11, 2026; a statement from the team said that the team had suffered too many injuries to safely continue play.[16] On June 16, Chuck Jones announced the team's official withdrawal from AF1 and that they were pursuing new opportunities with a new league.“
  22. Felicidades, España
  23. With his injury history, you dump him for the first good offer that comes along. Holding him until the end of his contract does you no good if he is on rehab assignments all the time, which would make him next to untradeable when the time comes.
  24. Fever 108 Liberty 88 Kelsey Mitchell scores 33 (including outscoring NY 19-12 in the third) to lead Indiana. Clark adds 17 and 7 assists Liberty are led by Breanna Stewart’s 26. Liberty were on fire from 3 to open the game and took a 3 point lead into half. Indiana played lights out defense the rest of the way and cruised to the win. Up next, they host Connecticut on Wednesday.
