  1. President and producer at Columbia Records. Produced artists like Janis Joplin, Billy Joel, Whitney Houston and Carlos Santana, among others. https://www.cnn.com/2026/06/22/entertainment/clive-davis-death
  2. No argument here, but it's all part of the growing process.
  3. Players in every league do that. LeBron does it every game and no one seems to care.
  4. Sounds like a good week to leave out some bottled water for your delivery folks.
  5. When I was growing up I used to go to Pompilios all the time with my grandma, and it was not bad. The last few times I've been there, I was less than impressed. Mediocre food, not worth the wait. A restaurant that is trying to coast off its appearance in a movie nearly 40 years ago.
  6. Fever 111 Sparks 87 Indiana plays without Caitlin Clark and Los Angeles played without Kelsey Plum and Cameron Brink...all out with various injuries. Kelsey Mitchell leads all scorers with 26 as the Fever jumped out to an early lead and never looked back. Fever now get a week off and don't play again until Sunday, July 5.
  7. The Tempo's Marina Mabrey ties WNBA records for points in a game with 53 and 3 pointers made with 9. Julia Allemend scores 13 points (4-4 from the field (3-3 from 3), 2-2 from the line) and dishes out 14 assists. Toronto also just missed tying the record for points in a game (Phoenix scored 127 (in an OT game) in 2010)
  8. The league office reviewed the play and Alyssa Thomas was given a flagrant 1 foul and suspended for 1 game. Not that it did Clark or the Fever any good last night. But at least the league took the steps to let it be known that these actions should be called out and they will take the steps to do so.
  9. Mind you in Monday’s game Caitlin got called for a technical foul for doing the unthinkable action of…clapping. Same thing happened to Paige Bueckers in the Dallas game on Monday. Throat punch, a-ok. Clapping….reel it in sister!
  10. Went to the game last night (a 2-0 Milwaukee win.). It was 3-2-1 night. I don't drink much at all, so I don't get much out of these nights, but there were A LOT of college kids there. So sitting behind my buddies and me was a group of college girls. Most of them Indian, but a couple of Japanese girls as well. One of the Japanese girls was the only one among the group that understood baseball. Listening to her explain the game to her friends was more than worth the price of admission.
  11. Phoenix 111 Indiana 109 Fever play most of the second half without Clark, who aggravated a back injury in the second quarter. Kelsey Mitchell lead all scorers with 30 points on the night. Officials completely ruined the game in the 4th with constant foul calls and stops to review possible foul upgrades and if they miscounted shots as 3s or 2s. At one point they just totally lost the fact that a player had fouled out and had to call a foul that should not have occurred because there should have been a break to substitute for the fouled out player. This need to be the WNBAs big offseason move...overhaul and upgrade the officiating.
  12. This would be a great job, but Michigan will probably hire someone like Bobby Hurley and really mess it up.
  13. Fever 86 Mercury 77 Indiana had a horrendous first, scoring just 6 points. Turned it around in the second and went on to the 9 point win. Caitlin Clark leads all scorers with 24 and added 9 assists. Kahleah Copper leads Phoenix with 20. This one also saw 7 technical fouls called, so the next one could be interesting Same 2 teams meet again on Wednesday.
  14. PRP made the cuts into the final 4 but one of the teams from Illinois was the eventual girls champion.
  15. This is why Sophie is the best.
  16. I know that with a limited number of teams and a 44 game schedule it's tough to work out logistics, but the idea of playing the same team back to back, and in this case in Indianapolis and then in Atlanta 2 days later, is just stupid. Probably will get worse next year when they add 6 more games to the schedule but no new teams until 2028.
  17. Atlanta 113 Indiana 96 Didn't get to watch this one as I was at the HS bowling national tourney for the day. Clark again led all scorers with 26 in the losing effort. Ex UK Wildcat Rhyne Howard led the Dream with 24.
  18. Top 20 teams advance to the next round. Unfortunately the bowling PaNDAs finished 23rd. Missed the cut by just 51 pins. The girls team from PRP advanced, finishing the qualifying round in 9th. No Kentucky boys teams advanced past the qualifier. Singles events still to come.
  19. I used to work across the street from that iconic locale and saw Gaelic Storm do a show there. I wonder what will be done with the spot? https://www.wlwt.com/article/covington-madison-theater-closing-kentucky-music-venue/71640113
  20. Last night Atlanta 108 Indiana 101 Kelsey Mitchell and Caitlin Clark led all scorer's with 26 Angel Reese led the Dream with 21. Not sure if anyone else watched, but my feed on Amazon was awful last night. I don't know if it was weather or what, but it was constantly buffering and spent more time in SD than HD.
  21. We were under a warning here in Crestview Hills, but nothing occurred here. Reports are that the Florence Mall and surrounding areas took the hit.
  22. Indiana 113 Toronto 91 Kelsey Mitchell leads all scorers with 27. Sophie Cunningham adds 24 and Caitlin Clark with 21 and 14 assists. Tempo were led by Laura Juskaite’s 19.
  23. Fever 85 Sun 75 Sophie Cunningham scores the final 11 points for Indiana to put the game out of reach. Caitlin Clark led all scorers with 25. Fever improves to 8 - 5 on the season.
