Tonights game was on ION. They also play on USA, ABC and occasionally ESPN.

Washington 104 Indiana 102/OT Caitlin Clark leads all scorers with 32. Sonia Citron netted 30 for the Mystics.

Tonights game is wild. Caitlin Clark hits a game tying 3 with time running out. Washington's Sonia Citron drains a 3/4 court shot at the buzzer to seemingly win it, but it was overturned on review, so we are headed to OT knotted at 89.

A couple of intriguing games in there. Obviously the division matchups (Steelers/Browns, Commanders/Giants, Colts/Texans, Ravens/Bengals) should be fun. If Jacksonville is healthy and on, the Jags/Ravens game could be fun as could Chiefs/Rams I'd they do another of those 56-54 games.

I was a great broadcast. Sophie being mic'd up was highly entertaining. The only thing I didn't like about it is the same thing I dislike about any game being broadcast from LA and that's let's see how many stars we can find in the crowd. Nothing is as bad as a Dodger game, but the whole spot a hollywood star in LA is cliché.

Kelsey carried them last season, with all the injuries they had. Hopefully whatever afflicted her in the last playoff game was dealt with and she can go a full season. When she gets on a streak, it's fun to watch.

That is a manageable schedule. The wild card is what version of the Chiefs will the league see next season. The normal Mahomes Chiefs or the 2025 version?

Best remembered for his role as "Ogre" in the Revenge of the Nerds movies. He also played Leslie "Dr. Death" Kruschner in the TV Series First & Ten. https://www.yahoo.com/entertainment/articles/donald-gibb-revenge-nerds-bloodsport-030552600.html Rest in Peace.

First class name, at least. That is awesome.

https://www.nfl.com/_amp/former-cowboys-broncos-qb-craig-morton-dies-at-83 This first QB to start a Super Bowl game for 2 different teams (Dallas (V) and Denver (XII)). In between he spent time with the Giants. RIP

Safe to assume Dallas will not have the top pick in the 2027 W draft.

Solid starting 5. Hopefully Sophie's knee is at or near 100%

https://www.cnn.com/2026/05/06/us/ted-turner-death Love him or hate him, he definitely left an impact of the way the world's news is covered. Also a former owner of the Atlanta Braves, Atlanta Hawks, Atlanta Thrashers and WCW Wrestling.

Congrats, Coach.

Based on that schedule, I assume they are not competing in a district again this season?

If they are going to let more teams in then they need to make one other change. The conference regular season champ gets the automatic bid. As it is now, adding 8 more teams isn't getting the MEAC regular season champ in (if they lose in the conference tourney.). It's just adding more middle to bottom tier Big XII, ACC or Big10, et al teams in.

Pre-season game #2. Dallas 95 Indiana 80. Caitlin Clark led all scorers with 21. Paige Bueckers put in 20 for the Wings. Sacred Heart and Indiana grad Grace Berger played 14 minutes and netted 3 points for Dallas.

Already figuring out what game me and my daughter will be attending. If you haven't had a chance to go up for a game, I highly recommend it. It is a fun time.

The core that made a run to the East Finals managed to stay intact. Add a, hopefully, healthy Caitlin Clark and the Finals has to be the expectation and anything less would be a disappointment. Should be a fun season.

What of they went on to pick up Olivier Rioux. That potentially would be 7'5 and 7'9 along the baseline. Talk about the redwoods. LOL. Not that I know the Cards are interested in Rioux and even of they were, chances are 2 guys that big aren't on the court at the same time.

So far, she seems to be taking a majority of the backlash...likely because she doesn't have the NFL shielding her. But I don't think Vrabel's missing the last day of the draft for counseling is going to cut it at all. He's going to have to take the slings and arrows of all this soon and the more he's forced to confront, the more that will emerge. I don't think he will remain the coach for much longer.

https://www.olympics.com/en/news/brazilian-olympic-basketball-legend-oscar-schmidt-dead-68 The 1984 NBA Draft saw Akeem, Sam Bowie and MJ go 1, 2, and 3. 131st (15th pick of round 6), the NJ Nets selected Oscar Schmidt, from Brazil. He didn't sign a contract with the Nets and never played a game in the NBA. He opted to dedicate his time and effort playing for the Brazilian National Team, and he became an International Basketball legend. RIP to one of the finest basketball players the world ever saw.

If his contract has morals clause it's an issue. He had an affair with a married woman and given the New England track record on people at the top being found in compromising situations...Let's just say it doesn't reflect well on the organization or the league.

Willie! My friends and classmate. Quite simply one of the nicest human beings to ever walk the earth.
