Slight correction, The LCA game was Demuariah's first game as a Rebel. And if I'm not mistaken he scored on one of the first offense plays of the game for BC, and he had 2 ints and a couple pb's on defense, I think LCA might've squeaked out a win in that game if he hadn't played.

I think they play alot of zone to give their stars a breather. Quisinberry, Brown, and Dawson all start in that "weak" secondary while also being their 3 most impactful guys on offense.

It's kinda crazy when you think of how Boyles weak link on their defense turns around and is the strong link on their offense.

Douglas's offence has been very inconsistent this year imo, if Douglass wins I see it being more like it was a few years ago when it was 27-14 after station threw a pick 6 in the 4th quarter while trying to tie the game. If Station is on their A game I think they could squeek out a 21-14 win to end the the streak. It's highly unlikely but still possible. Plus station has athletes too, they've got 6 guys on the Roster with atleast 1 D1 offer, with 3 that've already committed. This game will show if 6A is truly wide open within the top 6.

Even though Betsy lane beat them by 19? I could understand if the game was within 7 points.

To play in 4A your school needs to have a boys population ranging from 410-525. Corbin highschool has had an avg boys population of 453 from 2019-2023. Out of a population of 8000 if you say 4000 of them are male, I could definitely see 450 of them being high school aged. And their town being split between 3 counties definitely helps as well The school that really surprises me in my opinion is Louisville Central only having enough boys to play in 3A despite having a school population of 1200+ which is by far the largest population of any 3A School next largest is Rockcastle and Franklin Simpson at only 819

Pulaski had some success on the ground averaging 4.4 yards per carry primarily running inside which allowed them to avoid the twins, so I think Douglass with a better line and RB should be able to run the ball with success.

And then they'll be playing the #1 team in 1A to finish the season.

It would help if they had a QB who could consistently throw the ball. You'd have to go all the way back to Cade Mckee to get to the last Scott county QB who threw for 20+ TDs. They had Mikaleb Coffey for a couple years but didn't use him at QB and he ended having a really good year for BS in 2020. Would be a nightmare to prep for a team who runs the wing T and can also pass the ball consistently and effectively.

Definitely, it's nice to see those teams on their schedule as compared to what was on there last season.

They're tryna rack up their RPI before their district schedule starts to tank it.

Not sure exactly how many penalties, but I do recall the video commentators saying that PT had over 100 yards in penalties midway through the 4th quarter.

Do u think Pikeville will hold LCA to 23 carries for 35 yards?

Could we see a team challenge Pikeville the way Russellville challenged them a few years ago in the state title game? Or is this Pikeville team better than the '21 team while none of the other 1A contenders are as good as that Russellville team was?

I think this week will show us whether LCA's defense is as bad as some say it is. Ik it's very early but BG is averaging 47 pts/g so far, BC is currently at 41.5 pts/g and Pikeville is currently at 27.5 pts/g. If LCA keeps Pikeville under that at about 21-24 pts then I'll say that they're defense isn't as bad as it has seemed, But if Pikeville has their way with LCA defense even if LCA wins I'll definitely have Mayfield and Beechwood ranked ahead of them.

One of the reasons people liked Station coming into the season was because the entire Oline came back along with all but 1 or 2 skill players same thing with their defense. But they ended up losing one of their better offensive lineman (Center if I'm not mistaken) for the year. And have been struggling to find a replacement for him.

I had a feeling that this could be the outcome mainly because of Trinity's inability to consistently beat you in the air, they only had 54 passing yards in week 1 and from what the game looked like yesterday, they didn't throw it that well against Douglas. And because of Douglas's Dline it's hard to run on them. Trinity will continue to struggle against teams with a good run defense, if they can get their passing offense straightened up they'll be fine.
