Tilghman will be on the road for the first time since Sept. 8th against Henderson County against 5-2 Warren East, winners of 4 straight. 

Warren East averages 127.9 y.p.g. on the ground and just 103.7 through the air on offense. They do have 10 interceptions on the season along with 26 tackles for loss and 11 sacks. They'll likely need the defense to come up with a few takeaways in this one. 

Speaking of turnovers, I believe one of the bigger steps P.T. has made this season is qb Jack James protecting the football the best he ever has. He's throwing the football for a 275.1 y.p.g. average and has 22 td's to only 3 interceptions. He looks like a different qb than the last several seasons. 

Can Warren East give Tilghman a scare after their longest road trip(2 1/2 hours) of the regular season? 

Short answer, no, they can not. 
 

East has made decent strides and will compete next week for a home playoff game on the Smurf turf. 
 

Before the season I thought this would be a great game. East hasn’t lived all the way up to my expectations, especially early in the season. Paducah had some quality additions late in the summer to go along with their already solid team that took them up another notch and seemingly have taken care of the football more efficiently than in the past. 
 

I say Raiders hang on for a half, but past that, I’d say PT pulls away similarly to how they did Logan County. Maybe not 62 points worth, but something convincing along the lines of 49-21. 
And yes, I expect the clock to run at some point. 

49-21 PT if they can start fast they should take care of business quick.

Tilghman by a lot

I had this one singled out as a "must see" in the preseason, but the shine has mostly worn away with Warren East not meeting expectations coupled with Tilghman exceeding their's. 

I'll take PT, big. The Tornado can smell that unbeaten regular season.

Curious to see if the Raiders can make some plays, they have the athletes to do so, just have to be able to execute and capitalize on the opportunities that arise. Biggest downfall for the Warren East football team this year has been the OL, a very inexperienced bunch and it shows weekly. During this winning streak they seem to of come along but this matchup Friday night is the toughest they’ve faced all year and I don’t see how the Raiders offense will be able to get anything going even with their superstar at QB. However on the flip side, I do believe the Warren East DL led by a couple of SR’s Josh Collins and Matthew Cowles could give the Raiders defense a spark it will desperately need to slow down a potent offense. I hope it’ll be a competitive game but realistically PT has the speed to match up, the physicality as well, on top of the fact they’ve played better football teams than this Raider ball club. PT will continue their dominance in what looks to be a deep run in Class 4A incoming for the Tornado.

I really like this PT team and I believe they take care of business against Warren East.  I believe the Blue Tornado will make it to the semis.

They do not.

Sporting Times covers only 1/2 of the Warren County schools. A true shame. It grinded my gears last year that ST didn't go to a single Warren East game in arguably one of their most memorable seasons to date. I'm sure there's some sort of contract involved that I am not privy to. But video/live coverage for Warren East and Warren Central is woeful in sports media in Bowling Green.
