He literally jumped sideways into the kid. Lex Cath kid didn't even extend a forearm or dip a shoulder. Incredibly weak charge.

Trinity and Douglass in the west, St. X and Male in the east. Just an educated guess.

Collins in a low scoring FT shooting contest, 46-43. Both teams are elite on the defensive end and I could see some stalling taking place if a sizable lead is gained. Certainly would not surprise me if Johnson hits some impossible jumpers and Woodford wins, either.

No where near 100 for me, but I concur. I'd also be ruckus and annoying if my team was that good, to be fair.

Beat 4 teams that are gonna be in the region tourney this year. Beat 4 teams in the region tourney last year, and it would've been 5 if they played Gallatin. Just a ferocious 30th district. "Should" SC have made the region tourney more? Sure. But its hard to be critical with the overall product being the best its ever been over any stretch of time.

Spencer has never had an actual big man. 6'4" is about as tall as they come in SC, and even that is rare.

Spencer County being the 1 seed in the 30th district, yet having to beat a top 15/20 team in the state in Collins in order to even make their region tournament, seems like the clear answer here.

Unequivocally Moore. However, shoutout to Dylan Hammonds, Max Green, Dylan Roberts, Kenyon Goodin, and Luke Erhardt. Kids would win POY in plenty other regions.

Incredible work on those graphics! I think I'm going North Oldham, Collins, (SK, Owen, Spencer, Grant), Woodford, WV, Oldham, South Oldham.

The different games between the top 4 in the district are wild. Only blowout is Woodford over Anderson, Collins beat SC comfortably, but every other game went basically down to the wire.

Goodin probably is the best player in the game, in my opinion, but North Oldham has the next best 3. Roberts is Roberts, but the 2 big kids will be an issue for Collins.

Yup. Lost to Anderson in the first round 3 years in a row, then finally get over that hump, and then the next year Woodford gets added to the district.

Playing Collins or Woodford every year in the first round of the Districts will do that. Last time they didn't play one of those teams, they lost in the 2nd round of the Region to the eventual champ WV.

Gonna be a good one in Taylorsville on Tuesday night. Very excited to see how the Bears stack up with North Oldham. Have a feeling you're gonna have to get there early to get a seat.

You don't have to make it our of your own district though. You have to make it out of the district across from you. Sure Bardstown might win less regular season district titles with CAL and Central, but playoff success is almost certainly going to be harder in the current alignment than if they were in that 3A district.
