And finally, the great beast of the 30th District is down to 2 teams. This shall be a fun one. This is an exact rematch of last years district championship, and believe it or not both teams have a good bit of their core from last year still in tact. One key guy not playing will be John McCrear of Woodford County. He tore his ACL in the summer, and did not touch the floor his senior year. 

Woodford County is coming off a dominant win over Anderson County in the semifinals. After a shaky start to the year, they seemed to of found their groove in the second half of the season. They are currently on a 3-game winning streak, and have won 4 of their last 5 contests. The Yellow Jackets were in the regional championship last year, and they are looking to propel that same run last year with a district title to give them a good draw in the regional quarterfinals. 

Collins, a top-15 team in the state was the #4 seed in the district. Yeah, insanity. That means that they have already played 2 games in the tournament. The first was a solid win over Shelby County by 22 points, after shockingly trailing at halftime. They then went on to face Spencer County, and squeezed out a win in an insane game! The Titans trailed for the majority, but fought back for the win. They are looking to continue on with their impressive season and grab a district title before heading into the regional tournament. 

These teams have met one time this year, resulting in a 6-point win by Woodford County on their home floor. This game will also be played there, which gives Woodford a huge advantage. This will be a good one, and I wish that I was willing to make the drive down to attend, instead I will be watching one of the other 3 championships within the region a lot closer to home. 

I do not believe there will be any streaming for this game. 

Collins in a low scoring FT shooting contest, 46-43. Both teams are elite on the defensive end and I could see some stalling taking place if a sizable lead is gained. Certainly would not surprise me if Johnson hits some impossible jumpers and Woodford wins, either.

Taking Woodford be because of Johnson. But Depends on which Woodford County team shows up. If it’s the wild out of control, throwing up any kind of shot, and guys trying to do too much WC I see Collins stalling this game out and winning.

I've started watching it on my NHSF Network membership is that the best officials the 8th could put on this game? I'm sorry but the two older white guys are just to big to keep up with the speed of this game. imo
