Believe it or not, OC and WC actually faced off last night and have an entire thread of their own!

I really think grants coach is top notch. But- he never should have allowed his team to shoot 3 after after 3 with 1:30 left down 2-4. Get to the rim, try to draw fouls and extend the game. Drove and

I won't sit here and to profess what will go into his mind with regards to staying or leaving...but, I'd be honestly surprised to see him go. He's from Grant County, his wife is from Grant County. She

Great game with a great crowd.  Grant county had several late possession to tie game and could not convert.  3 point game Grant gets a wide open look with under 2 minutes to play. This game was very similar to the last time they played.  Grant matches up really well with North in the post and Utter for Grant absolutely harassed Roberts all night.  Grants starter that was out was a great defender and definitely would have helped. Overall Grant has played solid defensively all year.

Unofficial Fischer 15&9,  Anderson 11&10, Higdon 10&10, scales 6, and Roberts 6 for north.  Hammonds 14&14, Breeden 14, wills 11. Bosse 2, Utter 2 for Grant.

Fisher followed a performance where he didn’t miss a shot in the district championship with another gem tonight, where he made tough, under control drives/finishes all night.  Kudos to a tough kid who is excelling when it matters most!

I really think grants coach is top notch. But- he never should have allowed his team to shoot 3 after after 3 with 1:30 left down 2-4. Get to the rim, try to draw fouls and extend the game. Drove and kick if needed. Way too many desperation 3s way too early.

Considering they aren't a great 19'9" squad.

Hack-a-Higdon or Hack-an-Anderson would’ve been nice to try..

What a great season by Grant County! Has to suck for them that the Region is so strong right now.

This is their second year in a row drawing the favorite for the region. Last year was #1 Woodford, and this year #1 North Oldham.

Last year I thought Oldham should have gone after Utter. Not a swipe at their current coach, just super impressed with him. If the south job comes open south should really try to get him. Have no clue if he’d be open to it but he gets his kids to play so hard, compete and execute. I think he’d do big things with a school that offers a little more athleticism…

He is a great coach, if he stays at Grant County I am interested to see how he does with a team lacking the talent they had this year.

I won't sit here and to profess what will go into his mind with regards to staying or leaving...but, I'd be honestly surprised to see him go. He's from Grant County, his wife is from Grant County. She has her medical practice in Grant County. So there's a lot tying him there.  And while driving from Dry Ridge to Oldham County can be done...it'd get old in a hurry, I'd think.

Win the District and you won't have to worry about drawing the #1 team.

If he doesn't his soften his schedule, he lose more games.
