There are plays ran for Moore to get good post looks and plays ran for him to get open shots. Not to mention he normally takes at least 1 shot per possession. Stats are not posted for the game, and I don't expect them to ever be. But, I would love to see his FG% in this game.

Johnson creates every look of his on his own. WC's entire offense is just continuous dribbling trying to find lanes and either finish at the rim or find the open guy for 3. You said it yourself, he is more athletic than everyone on the court. So why don't we down credit Moore for being bigger and stronger than almost everyone he plays against?

Like I said, Moore has one of the best careers (statistic wise) in regional history, but go watch them play. Like I have said many times before, the eye test is the greatest test when comparing players. Based off the eye test, Johnson shines over Moore.

I think Johnson has more potential in college but as far as this year answer deep3 question. Swap Johnson for Moore and keep all else the same. Which team benefits more- Owen or Woodford?  Woodford with Moore beats the crap out of Owen with Johnson.

Believe it or not, OC and WC actually faced off last night and have an entire thread of their own!

I really think grants coach is top notch. But- he never should have allowed his team to shoot 3 after after 3 with 1:30 left down 2-4. Get to the rim, try to draw fouls and extend the game. Drove and

I won't sit here and to profess what will go into his mind with regards to staying or leaving...but, I'd be honestly surprised to see him go. He's from Grant County, his wife is from Grant County. She

Best player on the floor every game he has played ???

Doeer dropped 28 on him.  Tilley 21.

It’s easy to buy into the hype, the numbers tell a different story.

Assuming you are talking about Johnson? If so, this team seems to not take very much pride into defense. Only when it matters coming down the stretch, which I think is a huge fault in their team.

Also, assuming you don't watch them much, they run a trapping press, so you really aren't guarding anyone. I don't have any proof of it in those exact games, but they rely on it a lot.

Woj did you watch the game?

Owens coach runs plays for Teegan, ok how many open looks did he get?  Lemme answer for you…zero.  He scored 1 on 5 all night.

Hard for me to believe that anyone that “really knows basketball” could say JJ was the better player last night.  (You went there…)

Previous recent predictions:

Woodford game ugly early- wrong

Johnson outshine Moore- wrong

North big time over Grant- wrong

But somehow you are super confident that a contributor who missed a game that was a 2 points spread with 2:00 to to go would have made no difference in a game in doubt throughout.

The kid averaged 2.8 points per game.  There was nothing lacking on the defensive side last night, they needed a few more points.  The kid that replaced him in the starting lineup was their best 3 point shooter, and he couldn't buy or steal a basket.

I was wrong on the spreads, but I had the winners.

I guessing Moore out scored Johnson, but I'd say their total performance was about a push.  Plus Johnson advanced.

You might be right, but that just credits Johnson's supporting staff.

Funny, go back and read a little closer. Not once did I say that he was the better player last night. I said Johnson was close to him, but never once said he was better.

You are correct, Moore scored 1 on 3 multiple times, I wouldn't say 5, but 3 yes. This is not taking away from Moore at all in any of this.

LOL, 2 things; he missed many games this year due to injury (6 I believe?), and strength of schedule.

Yes- he did miss some games- against really good teams.  I guess you are saying he couldn’t be relied on because they played good teams. Thankfully the edelens played a super easy schedule otherwise Male wouldn’t have relied on them so much…

It’s all 4Q’s fault, per usual… Darn him and his terrible predictions.

One of the premises that started this is that LLS said Woodford doesn’t rely on Johnson. Took off from there.

I am saying best player. In total he is the best basketball player. He DID NOT play the best, and that is my final take. Maybe I didn't word that best, but do you get what I am saying?
