The Bears take a mini road trip up to NKY and picked up a good win against the Bearcats.

I heard it was a shootout, but with these teams a shootout in my eyes would be an even higher score than this. WV has clipped the 100-point mark twice this year, and were on the verge of it many other times.

I’ll be interested to see if those 2 talented teams can get to New Castle.

Me as well. After SK's loss to Scott, it seems like WV and GC are the 2 hottest teams in their district, and only one of them will be in the regional tournament. 

I think WV's chances are higher than Spencer's as they will have to defeat the beast of Collins. Since Collins was established in 2010, they are yet to miss a regional tournament.

Would absolutely suck to obtain the #1 seed in your district and have to face a top-15 team in the state to advance to the championship. Then if you can pull off that win, you might have a player ranked top-20 in his class in the whole nation waiting on you...

I’m hoping they can do it.

The different games between the top 4 in the district are wild. Only blowout is Woodford over Anderson, Collins beat SC comfortably, but every other game went basically down to the wire.

A back and forth game but Spencer eventually pulled it out! It’s a shame that there is a possibility that either of these teams might not make it to the Region Tourney. Both have tough 1st round District opponents. Thoughts?

I think WV has a decent shot to beat Grant Co, but SC beating Collins is a very tall task to get the regionals.
