Just as we expected before, Collins and Spencer County are playing in the semis with a shot at the regional tournament on the line. This one will be amazing, what are you all thinking? 

Defense is always important - and its value increases as you proceed into the post-season.

Make no mistake, Spencer can win this - if Cox and Erhardt and company start lighting it up from the perimeter, as they are more than capable of doing, the Bears can punch their ticket to New Castle.

And if Spencer was hosting....

But they're not.   The game is at Woodford.   I have to give this one to the team with the better defense.   I think Collins wins this one thanks to that suffocating defense, which often leads to transition baskets.

Two great teams.   It's really a shame both can't advance.   Region fans deserve to see both in New Castle, but it can't happen.

Hm, I do not recall missing him out there, however I was watching it online and not in person. 

Quinton Simmons was out during the North game, but I heard - rumors - that they were just resting him to ensure he was ready for tournament time.    Did he play against Shelby?

Just went back and looked at a video from warm-ups. He was in uniform and warming up. Not sure how I missed him not being at the North Oldham game.

I saw that too.  North has the stats from the game and Collins doesn’t from that or a few others. Not a fan of that at all…

Really, what do the stats prove.  If you don't know your competition by this time of the year, you haven't done a very good job preparing.

I guess they are referring to if players are playing or not? Either way, almost every coach in the state of KY gets multiple films (most coming from recent games), and with all the livestreaming availability you'd think they would be able to figure it out right?

I can not find it anywhere. I thought that GHP-Sports said they were streaming all of Spencer's game in the district tournament, but they are not live yet. They do not play until 8 though.
