I feel like Fox had to make a big splash after losing Aikmen and Buck to ESPN and Manning sticking with ESPN to do the Manning Cast. I have a feeling Brady will be really good in the booth. With his work ethic, he will put the time in to be good.

The name I am hearing is someone different than that clown but I agree. Ready to move on from those individuals that seem to just always find something to be mad about. Like you said, no matter what you do, someone is going to be mad.

I am not sure. It wouldn't surprise me at all. It is becoming more and more common; as it should IMO. Maybe some of the BC members can let us know.

I am not advocating for lowering wages for people; when that happens you lose quality people. All I am simply saying (and clearly was misunderstood by other posters such as @9068 and @Colonels_Wear_Blue) is that superintendents and administrators have an obligation to know about these things and put plans in place so that they can be gradually replaced or repaired so that the stadium never gets this bad. It quite literally is a major responsibility of leadership positions to be forward thinking and earmark monies for gradual replacements and improvements so that a school is never hit with a major unforeseen expense at once. It would be no different than an administrator planning to replace school materials like computers, textbooks, etc. years in advance. I am not saying the stadium should have been torn down and replaced all at once. That is unrealistic (even in "bluebird" land as @9068 calls it).

Maybe I am out of my tree here, but it seems like the superintendent of a school district should know these things and address them before their biggest athletic money maker has to lose its stadium. Seems like a lot of people kicked the can down the road hoping no one would finally say something.

The promotion of individual players, the football program as whole, and all the other sports at BC is incredibly impressive. He is a great Twitter follow and totally "gets it". I completely understand why players would want to play for him.

Very good points. I do not know Coach Haddix personally, but I always wonder about young coaches who have a lot of success and what their desire to move up is. With Boyle's tradition, talent pool, and the community/school support there is a good chance he can be successful for a very long time.

Coach Haddix has been successful everywhere he has been. He continues to take programs to new heights. Boyle Co. is absolutely booming and taking things to a potentially new level than Chuck Smith did. Following Coach Haddix on social media, and the program as a whole, is impressive. They are developing and promoting players that make families want to join the community. I was really hoping that the stars would align and the HHS job would have come open before he jumped from Corbin. I think he would blow the doors off the place at HHS but I also understand why he didn't apply for the HHS job when it came open. I cant help but to believe that anyone and everyone has sought him out. With that said, does Coach Haddix finish his career at BC? What does it take him to leave BC? Is it local? Is it KY? Is it national?

Any chance Mike Welker makes the jump from Moeller? Lives in town. Wife was a phenomenal soccer player at HHS. Chances of winning a title in KY are far higher than winning in OH. Could be a long shot but would also be a huge hire and I know that him and Niedert are close friends.

HHS has always had a lot of football players doing track and field and a lot have been pretty successful; a lot of the relay sprint teams are formed from football players. Back when I was in school a lot more did track just to get out of Coach Mueller's football winter weights haha.

Thanks for the information. Seems like it would be a no brainer for all programs to use the in house SC if the school is going to pay someone to lead it; howeverI have heard at other schools like HHS that is not the case. I love to see schools making the investment in SC coaches as it truly is essential to the development of programs.

Is the football program utilizing Coach Atallah for their off season program? I know for years a lot of their off season program was done at ASAP but was curious if that was changing.

DeSylva is a phenomenal athlete; no surprise there. Three sport guy too. Love to see that.

A lot will be determined by their pitching but I guess that could be said about any team at any level. Having Schwalbach healthy for the first time in a long time goes a long way. Abe Hils, Jack Hendrix, Wiseman, and Ryan DeBurger will also contribute to the pitching staff. Nice game put together by Mason Welsch last night. I was surprised to not see Foster Schuett suit up for the Birds. Is he not playing anymore? Is CCH down this year? I saw that they lost to NCC recently.

I’m of the opinion that if it is from the Buffalo Trace family, it’s going to be good. Benchmark is a very solid bourbon. Have you given the white label a shot? This doesn’t necessarily answer the original question but the most overrated bourbon IMO is any of the Pappy’s. Don’t get me wrong, they’re great bourbons but there are many bourbons out there that are just as good and 1/4 of the cost.

Rooting for chaos is always a great option! Could also light a fire under Murray and get him to take a step to the next level.

Love to see this. Giving back to your school and community and also benefiting financially at the same time... total win win for the kids being coached, the Mayer brothers, and the CCH program. I do not know the Mayer boys well, but have some relationships with their cousins and other family and it seems by all accounts they are great young men.

Unfortunately, I think it is a combo of both. Devon being "relatively" strong for his age and the program being so far behind in the weight room because of the previous HC's weight program.

I am not totally sure who you might be referencing that are deciding to not play baseball, but I have been told that pretty much the entire rising senior WR core will not be back. Don't expect to see names like Hendrix (baseball), DeBurger (baseball), Valliere (moved) to be playing football. Those are 3 VERY talented players who have chosen not to play football. I am interested to hear from you who has decided to do the opposite.
