I can say between the PA announcer & the band, there is a lot of “noise” going on during plays when you play at Central. I had another statistician say to me a few weeks ago “. I thought they were supposed to stop playing during plays?”

Oh the irony of @Al Bundypicking Ryle by 4 TDs as well, which is exactly number of TDs he scored in the city championship game. Love it.

Why would you get roasted for that? Any team can be beaten on a given night. Nobody probably thought Boyle County would be beaten last year either, but upsets happen. All things even, I think CAL is 3-4 TDs better than anyone else in 3A, but another team plays light out & CAL plays sluggish & that gap closes to next to nothing very quickly.

There’s still a lot that can change, but I noticed that LexCath has now jumped Glasgow in RPI after last night. In addition, CAL dropped .04 points after beating, but somehow Western gain .03 points. Weird how that happens.

It pretty much did. They just have to beat CH next week & they’ll be the 2 seed in district 2.

47-0 CAL at halftime. Running clock started with 10:30 left to go in the 2nd quarter. Second half will be 10 minute, running quarters.

Gave away about 250 CAL sweatshirts a few weeks back & typically handout coupons for free chik-fil-a sandwiches as you’re leaving afterwards. Big on the giveaways, those Centurions are ?

The young just wants to play football & he’s done everything the right way to this point. He’s good enough to start at QB for 90-95% of the high schools in KY, but unfortunately for him, his first two schools were part of the other 5-10%. I will definitely be pulling for him next year at NO.

That is correct on Pfeiffer. He transferred to NO b/c that's his home district. However, Tyree Stoner is the backup QB, which is not a bad option.

If nothing changed, then their path would look something like this: Round 1 - vs. Bath County Round 2 - vs. Russell / East Carter regular season loser (2nd seed in District 6) Round 3 - vs. Lawrence County Round 4 - at CAL If Bell County loses to Pulaski County at the end of the year, it could put them at 1 and it would look something like this: Rounds 1 & 2 are the same Round 3 - vs. Bourbon County Round 4 - at Murray or at Bell County or they could possibly host one of those 2 teams. Round 5 (championship) - CAL

4th overall, but 2nd in the East. They are .1 ahead of Lawrence County and .008 behind Bell County in the east. It's a long way down to Bourbon County in 4th (about .075 behind Lloyd).

No, it's cross district for rounds 1 & 2, East (districts 5-8) & West (districts 1-4) for round 3, then for round 4 if the last 4 teams left where 1 plays 4 and 2 plays 3 depending on RPI. The earliest X & T could play is round 4, and not in the championship, but it could happen.

Unfortunately, those scenarios happen. Last year, CAL was the benefactor of the RPI and Central had to come to them in the playoffs even though Central beat CAL convincingly in the regular season at Central. I didn't agree with it even though it benefited the team I have a vested interest in.

I don't see them going any lower unless they somehow lose one of their last two games. I don't really think that's possible. I don't think Lawrence County jumps them either if they both win out. They could possibly go up depending on the outcome of the Bell County vs. Pulaski County game the last week of the season. I think they're either the 1 or 2 seed in the east depending on the outcome of the Bell County vs. Pulaski County game.

If the playoffs were to start today and if CAL makes it to the Class 3A finals, their path would look something like this: Round 1 - vs. Mercer County Round 2 - vs. Garrard County - DeSales / Central winner from round 1 Round 3 - vs. Lex Cath Round 4 - vs Glasgow if Glasgow beats Murray in Round 3 or vs. Lloyd / Lawrence County winner if Murray beats Glasgow in Round 3 Championship - vs. Bell County / Murray winner or Bell County / Lloyd vs. Lawrence County winner depending on scenario in round 4. Basically, even with only 3 weeks left in the season, a lot can still change. Teams 2-5 in RPI can still change a lot, even without any of those losing a game the rest of the year. Bell County's game against Pulaski County and Glasgow's game against Franklin-Simpson the last week of the regular season will play a big role in RPI seeding as well. Of course, if Union County can knock off Murray this week, that will throw everything off as well.

CAL typically let's the starters play 3 quarters regardless, then bring in the JV for the 4th quarter with the early running clock games. This one might be different though. I do expect the starters to play the entire 1st half. I think the running clock will start at the end of the 1st quarter. CAL is on bye next week so it's more than likely going to be like a double bye for them. I'm most curious to see how it affects their RPI. They have a sizable lead in the RPI for 3A, but this is literally the best team in 3A on RPI vs. the worst team in 3A on RPI.

It’s senior night for CAL. Western enters 0-6 & CAL enters 8-0. This is literally a more lopsided matchup than David vs Goliath. This is a great example of why forced district play is bad. I hate saying it, but the biggest prediction is when does the running clock start?

Kid can make all the throws & his football IQ is extremely high. Wish he was just a bit bigger. If he was, he’d be getting a lot of FBS looks.

Central did next to nothing offensively. They may have had about 75 yards of total offense. Strange to say, but CAL had more team speed than Central & it showed. Burke went for over 400 yards passing with 6 TDs & 2 receivers had over 100 yards receiving & neither of them was JaHyde Brown.

Very strange predicting Highlands to lose by 3 TDs. CovCath went to the Pit & played Elder within a score so you’d think Highlands could / would do the same, right?
