It’s senior night for CAL.  Western enters 0-6 & CAL enters 8-0.  This is literally a more lopsided matchup than David vs Goliath.  This is a great example of why forced district play is bad.  I hate saying it, but the biggest prediction is when does the running clock start?

I sincerly hope that when CAL gets their RC

they take a knee the rest of the way.

CAL typically let's the starters play 3 quarters regardless, then bring in the JV for the 4th quarter with the early running clock games.  This one might be different though.  I do expect the starters to play the entire 1st half.  I think the running clock will start at the end of the 1st quarter.  CAL is on bye next week so it's more than likely going to be like a double bye for them.  I'm most curious to see how it affects their RPI.  They have a sizable lead in the RPI for 3A, but this is literally the best team in 3A on RPI vs. the worst team in 3A on RPI.

I know they are not responsible for the schedule

but........................

Hopefully sportsmanship and maybe even a bit of "mercey" will prevail

CAL isn't going to learn much nor benefit from the good kids at WHS

Just sayin...................

Good for CAL. I’d never pull my starters before half.

This game is exhibit "A" of many why districts should be done away with and move to a regional model that gives more flexibility in scheduling.

....and soooooooooo many more each and every week.

This is quite literally the best team in 3a playing against the worst team in 3a.....

This could very well be the biggest blowout I've seen CAL put up

I guess the Frosh QB is the backup CAL QB now. Word has it that Pfeiffer has already left CAL and enrolled at North Oldham.

That is correct on Pfeiffer.  He transferred to NO b/c that's his home district.  However, Tyree Stoner is the backup QB, which is not a bad option.

Guess he's been watching some of those college qb's jump around to serveral schools over 5-6 years

He has been at Trinity, CAL and North Oldham.

The young just wants to play football & he’s done everything the right way to this point.  He’s good enough to start at QB for 90-95% of the high schools in KY, but unfortunately for him, his first two schools were part of the other 5-10%.  I will definitely be pulling for him next year at NO.
