Was Coach Tingle also the AD at Henry County?

Wasn’t he the AD at Henry County also? Henry had a great season.

If there are over 5 people on a “hiring committee” I’m not even interested in interviewing. You have to know who is somewhat in charge. 10 is ridiculous!!! No wonder there has been a lot of turnover in Paris.

Keith Baisch will return to Mercy as Head Coach. Keith assisted Mark Evans for many years, then replaced him when he retired. Keith stepped away for a few years and then returned to help Coach Cann on a volunteer basis.

I don’t know Coach but I do know he still lives in Louisville and his AAU team is based out of the City.

That’s some serious connections. I have never understood whey WoCo wasn’t in the 11th in Basketball. Now I do!!!?

I would think that Glen Wathen (Bethlehem) might be interested in coming back to the City? This is a gig where the right person can get to Rupp on a semi regular basis.

Another big opening in The City. I believe he is going to be an Assistant Coach at Morehead.

I don’t know what Indiana has this year but I’d think this Kentucky team will do quite well. It has Bigs. It has the 6’6 athletic types that the Indiana teams always have that Kentucky usually lacks. It has guards that can shoot and it has guards that can break you down. Complete Team. ON PAPER!!!

Pretty interesting that OC would hire someone without any Varsity experience (that's what I was told) when they had other candidates that had Varsity head coaching experience and others that had a lot of Varsity experience. This shapes up to be a very interesting District as stated above.

He certainly needs him! That kid has some red flags but when he is on the floor he can do everything!

This is not a knock on Seneca Driver or any other high profile kid going off to a high major college early BUT: I would GUESS in 30 years the people that do that will look back and regret it. You only get to go through High School once and giving up on Prom, Senior year Basketball, Graduation etc are things that money can’t replace.

Two things about this: 1. Outside of Male and maybe Manual on occasion, Trinity doesn’t want to play JCPS teams. It serves no purpose for either program ON THE FIELD. 2. Many (Most) games ADs would welcome home games vs Trinity for the gate because as we all know their fans travel. My opinion and this was talked about a few years ago is that X and T should join with a few schools in Indianapolis and Cincinnati and form a regional showcase league. There are enough REALLY good teams in those areas to make something like that work.

6th vs 7th senior All Stars played each other Tuesday night. Game resembled the NBA all star game with a score of 160-155 7th region. 15 minute running clock quarters. 5 man subs each 5 minutes.

Four coaches in four years. Tough on the kids and tough to build.

Ashley was a helluva player back in her day. True competitor. Brought that out on the sidelines and in her kids.

Seems like one of the best in Louisville is on the move as well. Not confirmed yet but Larry Miller of Evangel Christian may be headed out of the big city and into Eastern Kentucky. OBI

This is the BEST public school job in the Big City. Lots happening around campus as the AD is stepping aside as well.

Without reading through all the notes and the rule about the shot clock, my question is does it have to be mounted above the goals? Back in the day when they first came out they were put on the corner of the floor. Is the allowed now?
