Is it just me or does it seem there are more job openings at really strong programs than usual? Seems that way on the men's and women's site. It will be interesting to see how it all shakes out.

Seems like one of the best in Louisville is on the move as well.

Not confirmed yet but Larry Miller of Evangel Christian may be headed out of the big city and into Eastern Kentucky. OBI

It appears the Tweet I saw last night has been taken down so this may or may not be happening.

I think the landscape of high school basketball has changed. Are some of these jobs still considered top jobs like they have been in the past?  Or has time and talent moved on to other areas/schools?

Definitely, an era of haves and haves nots.  There's not a lot of mid-tier programs in the landscape of building super teams.

Let's drill into this phenomenon even more because you are absolutely correct. 

Programs that have been regional powers that are currently going through hardship:

Newport Central Catholic

Mercer County

Mason County

Madisonville North Hopkins

University Heights

Holmes

Boone County

These are just to name a few. And these programs all certainly have their specific challenges they are contending with but the point is this current era is unforgiving. You just don't go mediocre, you go full bad.
