A win for the Cougars is a win for Northern Kentucky. However, I do not think this is likely. Colonels 21 Cougars 7.

As a "Beechie" I'm not embarrassed for winning a game 70-7. Maybe NCC should have made some adjustments to not allow that to happen. If getting curb stomped embarrasses you, then do something about it on the field. Play with the same pride they had in 2019 after beating Beechwood.

When NCC beat Beechwood in 2019, NCC fans and players did not stop talking about it. They still talk about it to this day. Maybe if NCC would have acted like they had won before they would not have got absolutely man handled.

Holladay, Courtney, and now starting Safety and WR Moore will not be able to play another high school football game. After Courtney going down while playing a position on special teams that he had no business playing, wouldn't you have thought coach Rash would have learned his lesson? NOPE. He kept the starters in the second half leading to B. Moore knee injury. When entering the second half with a running clock, what is the point of leaving the starters in especially when you are playing a team that your JV team can handle. Correct me if I am wrong, but RPI does not matter in the playoffs. It does not matter if you beat a team 58-8 or 58-20 all that matters is you survive and advance -- which Beechwood's JV team would have been able to do against Newport. I usually have only good things to say about Rash and his football program but this was an absolute horrible decision leading to an injury that could have easily been prevented. With two Tigers getting hurt that usually start on both sides of the ball, some guys will have to step up in order for this miraculous season to end with a ring.

I think the Tigers will handle this game with ease, and they will win by at least three scores. However, the second half of their schedule only goes downhill. The lack of competition towards the end of the schedule might be the Tigers biggest threat to a 2A State Champ repeat.

Not sure High School sports superstar is the peak of their concern. If you look at each player reclassifying and look at their GPAs and ACT scores, you could see it being beneficial for some of them to return. Anyway..... cam is a better pocket passer than he is credited for. Beechwood 35 Colonels 21.

You must not have understood the parent correctly. I can tell you that DID NOT happen. In fact Coach Rash was influencing his players to move on if they could. Rash did not have and influence over the decision that families made to let their kids stay. Maybe if Cov Cath parents didn't have to pay 10k+ per year, they might have considered sending their kids back another year.

No doubt. Especially looking at cov caths starting lineup this year. Huge win for the Cru. Wyatt Veith is a BAD man!

I'm not sure that I would go as far as calling the colonels the "greatest" every year. If I remember correctly, the tigers won the 35th district last year.

Draud is the best scorer in 9th. Also rebounds the ball like crazy. He's also the best player imo hands down.

The 8th region refs called a very lopsided game. Almost hard to watch.

Beechwood should be #2 imo. they beat Highlands pre season by 6.. also lost to Lex cath at Lex cath after playing in a tournament...
