If they lose this game all the confidence in the world ain’t going to help them I think it would be time to start looking to basketball season. However that’s not going to happen if it did I think it would be the upset of the season.

By those numbers we wouldn’t have but maybe 2 classes.

I can’t argue with you there I feel like some people wake up looking for a fight.

That would be asking for turmoil parents would lose their minds.

I’ve got to be honest I’m shocked two people picked Barren Co.

So what happens to the kids that weigh more than 190 at these schools they just can’t play.

I think it’s hilarious that everyone gets so up in arms over first round playoff blowouts. Guess what there are blowouts every week in the regular season where teams are very mismatched. Are we going to quit playing those to same way with the they just have to travel to far when the schools apparently don’t mind because they schedule games where they have long road trips during the regular season every week. The only issue I have a problem with is you basically have 20 teams every season if that many that can win state. And it’s the same teams every year. And your suggestion of let them play in 6A on a volunteer basis would never work because none would volunteer because guess what they want to win state every year. The most logical thing I think is something like the Buford rule or just split the public and private up and let them play in two different divisions like Tennessee does. But all of this is a waste of time because nothing is changing my friends.

Well as bad as Central Hardin is this year I can’t imagine they are worse than Calloway Co. so I’m taking East by at least 3 touchdowns. Does anyone know when the last time Calloway was good didn’t Pookie Jones from there maybe they were good when he was there.

I don’t know because I don’t make these rankings but I’m sure the schedule has a lot to do with it. I think the win over NCC was good at the time but 4 games in they have not been good so it’s not as impressive as originally thought.

Oh I have no problem with them being number 2 they definitely have the best win of anyone in 3A. I just don’t know what to think of them to be honest. I just wondered if anyone else was confused by their scores to this point.

Is anyone else a little Confused by Lexington Catholic. Outside of Boyle Co. they have not been dominant. Lost to Ballard who’s good but certainly not great. And in their other two wins they won but was definitely not dominant to two teams that don’t appear to be all that. It seems we’ve seen two different teams the team that beat Boyle that would make you think maybe they could beat Cal on a given night. And then the team in the other three games that you would think could lose to several of the higher ranked teams in 3A.

I would be really surprised if Somerset doesn’t win this game. Green might be 3-1 but it’s against a very weak schedule.

This will probably be the best team PT has played since joining this district. That being said FS is not MNH and I don’t think there’s any chance they could win this game. However, I do expect FS to keep it close for a while but PT pulls away and wins by 2 or 3 touchdowns.

That game between Barren Co and Greenwood will probably be streamed on WCLU burgundy. In this game Barren actually has a pretty solid defense so I think everyone expects BG to put a running clock on them and they may very well do it but I could see Barren holding the score down a little too. The problem for Barren is they really struggle on offense so I expect the final score to be 28-0 maybe 35-7 so I’m not expecting a running clock but I am expecting a comfortable BG win. Good luck to both teams.

I wouldn’t want to be Barren Co next week I think BG will come in wanting to put a hurting on them to take out their frustration.

This one really surprises me. I thought Greenwood was probably two scores better than Logan.

Maybe they are a little better than we thought.

Actually Glasgow beat CAL 21-0 in 2011 that’s the year they went to the state championship.

I think that is about the only answer for the officiating shortage and honestly I don’t think it’s that big a deal if every team has to move one game to a Thursday or Saturday every year.

WCLU in Glasgow has been doing their games since the 80s. Jim Moody was play by play for a long time and he was great they’ve had Joe Myers who I went to school with since around 2002 and he does an excellent job as well. A couple years ago they added the live stream to mirror the radio broadcast and I just love it. They do pre game and post game and the live stream is very professional.

Like I said not really one dominant team that they just couldn’t get over the hump with except Fort Knox. Beginning in 1980 Fort Knox ended their season in 80,83,84,85,86,87,88,90,94,96, and 2010 Glasgow only replayed the favor in the 82 semis and in 92 in the first round. So why yes they’ve been eliminated by several teams Fort Knox was the one that hurt us the worst because they had some great teams in the 80s and just couldn’t get past them.

I don’t think OCath really had a lot to do with them not winning a state title and Danville only once Boyle got them in back to back state championships. And they’ve actually owned Bardstown in the playoffs all except one year. Believe it or not the team that killed them the most in the playoffs and when Glasgow had some great teams was Fort Knox. I think in the 80s and 90s they ended Glasgow’s season in the playoffs 11 times including like 7 or 8 years in a row including 3 straight years in the 80s when Glasgow went undefeated in the regular season. The one that disappointed me the most was 2011 because even though they got beat 33-14 I still believe Glasgow was better than Cov. Holy Cross. And Holy Cross never did nothing before or since it was just hard to swallow.
