It has never made sense to me how a high school team can be so great on offense and so poor on defense. I might understand it on the 5 and 6 A clubs that try to play with no players playing both ways but these smaller schools you would think would play their best players both ways. If they don’t maybe they should. I mean I understand players get tired but could the defense be any worse with a tired great player out there than a fresh average player. Just food for thought.

Why would they not partition to play in a higher class. Hard to showcase how great a team you have when you are head and shoulders better than everyone else.

I know Glasgow went through this last year as we lost about every running back on the team besides Stockton but the coaches rallied and just decided to give it to him about every time and ended up winning a region championship so don’t give up yet good coaches find a way to work around injuries. That being said I don’t think they will figure it out before Friday so I’m going with Hazard 27-22.

I have a hard time believing PT can remain close in this game as HC appears to be better than South Warren and Henderson Co, but hey that’s why they play the games good luck.

Is Danville still ranked in all the rankings that shows you how hard it is to find 10 qualify teams.

Warren East is a quality team but I think a region championship would be their ceiling. And there’s nothing wrong with that it’s hard to win region but there’s a very low chance they could win a semi final game with as many tough teams as there are in 4A. But like I said it’s still a great and maybe historic season for East I’m not sure they’ve ever had a undefeated regular season or region championship so they got a chance to do some good things this year.

Can they beat Barren. And yes I understand Barren is not a great team and got embarrassed last night by CH but North is not near the team CH is.

I think this just strengthens my argument that combining Hopkinsville and CC will not help them in anyway in sports. Two poor teams are not going to make a powerhouse in 6A like some have claimed.

In 2007 they were as good as anyone in the state in AA. They lost a tough game by less than 10 to FC who went on to win the championship. I think what cost them the game against FC was lack of depth they had very few players and played about everyone both ways.

I remember they went to state semis back in the 2000s but not sure they were ever ranked that high because they turned on late that season. If I remember correctly they lost to Glasgow and maybe someone else in the district during the regular season then smoked everyone in the playoffs until they ran into Fort Campbell in the semis and played a close game but lost and then FC won the championship the next week.

I think SW will win but I wouldn’t be shocked if NL pulled it off.

I think everyone was saying the same thing last year and while they did go ahead and win it Russellville gave them all they wanted and I certainly think Raceland is capable of that as well.

I’m going with Bracken just because I like their nickname.

I think Glasgow could probably beat the bottom 5 but you can’t lose games and they lost two games in a row I’m sure they will work itself out if it’s meant to be.

I think Green is starting to put things together and they get the win.

I would love to see BC win this one but after shocking victories in the regular season the last two seasons I have a feeling CH will be ready for them.

I’m sure Tilghman will get the win and Trigg will come crashing down to earth.

I think SW continues to be a thorn in BG’s side but don’t be surprised if BG flips it in the playoffs.

I think Etown gets a little revenge but I’m sure they would rather have the other one.
