Throwing insults just because I said I would never deliberately lose in a football game. I guess you and I are cut from two different cloths.

Heck there’s been several state championships that were blowouts there’s always going to be blowouts in football.

I find it a little hard to believe anyone would want to get beat if that’s the case they don’t care anything about playing football to begin with.

I think there’s lots of people on here that only think you should be in the playoffs if you’re good. There’s lots of teams in sports at every level in every sport that are bad and get into the playoffs. Look at the NCAA tournament all those teams from small conferences are not good teams. Same with the pro leagues I’ve seen teams with losing records make the NFL playoffs but that’s the way the system is set up and that’s how the KHSAA is set up. In virtually every other sport all teams in the KHSAA make the postseason and it wouldn’t bother me if it was the same in football. More football games is not a problem to me.

Hopefully this year they get them one.

Can Owensboro win the state championship? If so when was their last one?

The sad part is they lose over 20 seniors so the likelihood of it improving next season would have to be low.

I think Glasgow needed a game like this they’ve been on cruise control for weeks hopefully this will wake them up and get them back tuned in.

Great game as the two teams nearly always deliver. Glasgow’s defense was pretty good I was a little disappointed with their offense until the fourth quarter I think they finally figured out FS weakness was against the pass as I think all four touchdowns were passes. Only the eighth time in 107 years of football for the Scotties to go undefeated and untied in the regular season. 1028,1929,1942,1984,1985,1986 and 2011. A lot of people may think Glasgow should’ve won by more but that’s the reason we play the games you can’t play them on paper.

As we can tell all of us have different opinions on this subject and nothing is going to make all of us happy.

Well I disagree, all of these kids work hard all season and deserve a chance to play in the playoffs. Guys you also need to consider that high school sports don’t have unlimited funds so the more games they play the more money they bring in to be able to buy uniforms and other equipment needed to run the program. It seems like to some you would only have the teams that can win it in the playoffs if that’s the case what’s the point of having the 3A playoffs let’s just award CAL the trophy and move on.

There’s tons of running clock games in the regular season every week do we just quit playing these games and each team play like 4 or 5 games a year.

There’s tons of blowouts every week at every level of football. If we just quit playing these games there ain’t going to be many games left to play. The whole feeling bad for a team because they get blown out is ridiculous to me that’s part of sports if losing makes you feel bad don’t play the game.

I wish these teams would just be like other teams and pull themselves from district play at the beginning like Ohio Co, Holmes and others have.

I think it’s smart to move this game you definitely want to be home for the first two playoff games and want the field to be in the best shape possible.

I don’t think there’s no way they would make it to the finals before they play from looking at the RPI I think the latest it could be would be the semis.

I haven’t either really Coach Arnett had the second team in and was running the ball I don’t think 57 is a whole lot different than 49. If he got mad because they went for two Arnett has did that all season if JV is in and they score he’s not going to run the starters back in to kick a extra point he just let's them play.

I think Glasgow was hurt by having a 6 team district if you had a four team district you could’ve scheduled a couple bigger schools but you can only play who is on your schedule. Unfortunately I can’t see them staying ahead of Lex Cath if they both win their only chance is if Ashland wins. I’m no mathematician with all these numbers but with Ashland being higher in the RPI then FS it just wouldn’t make sense for Glasgow to stay ahead if they both win. So I will be a Ashland fan this week.

This will test Glasgow’s highly ranked defense as FS seems to be able to score. However it doesn’t seem like FS has any interest in playing defense at all. Give me the Scotties 35-20.

Yeah I don’t understand as a coach of young men you tell them to not shake hands doesn’t seem like the right way to teach young people to me.

There’s lots of homers the most stupid one is and that’s another so and so team and the fans all scream first down there’s a bunch that do it and it sounds stupid they even do it when they are getting blown out so stupid.
