  1. Johnson Central (4-2) will travel to Cobin (5-0) this Friday. Johnson Central comes in this week ranked #7 in Class 4A beating Boyd County convincingly 53-14. Corbin also had a big win over Hazard by a score of 42-0. Corbin remains in the #2 spot in 4A. Can Johnson Central take down the Redhounds or will Corbin remain unbeaten?
  2. I think the game will be a battle and turnovers and who gets the momentum. Expecting a lot of runs on this one.
  3. Glasgow Central Frederick Douglass Manual St. Xavier
  4. No, Greer doesn’t run up the score. As soon as they get a running clock. You can expect the JV to take over.
  5. Corbin (4-0) and currently ranked #4 in Class 4A is traveling to Class 1A Hazard (1-4) this Friday. Corbin is coming off of a big win against Frederick Douglass by a score of 6-0. The Twins were putting on a show on the defense side of the ball and Kade Elam and Carter Stewart along with Guy Bailey was making hay on the offensive side of the Ball as well. Hazard is normally in the top 5 in 1A but is having a down year. I guess the big question is can they pull of a upset?
  6. Congratulations Corbin!!!
  7. And just like that, there is someone else.... Raceland! Boy, does anyone have my plate of crow! Congratulations on making 1A a 2 horse race in 2023...
  8. Being at Boyle has definitely showcased his talents. Then the off season workouts are second to none. Being in the presence of a program like Boyle does way more for these kids than you might think. As well as give them an opportunity to win. I applaud this family for making the decision for him. I am a fan of this young man. He is awesome to watch!

  10. 5A is going to have some very nice matchups in the playoffs!
  11. Man, is 6A is an even playing field. Whoever wants it the most type games.
  12. I’m thinking if Beechwood and LCA play, 4 scoreboards might be needed for all the points. Love it!
  13. I like this Rankings. Good job! I see all kinds of possibilities deeper in the year. 5-7 are interchangeable.
  14. I honestly don't know much about Frederick Douglass this year. I know what I hear. But I haven't seen them in person to know actually how good they are. But Corbin has Franklin West that they can plug in the center of the defense and honestly if they do that, Corbin will be hard to run against. But if Douglass can spread out the Corbin defense and put the secondary in play making situtations then Douglass may open it up, but alot is unclear because Corbin doesn't play West on defense alot and that is a big question mark and will affect the outcome of this game. If I was Corbin, I would spread out FD and try to beat them with the passing game, I don't see many teams running on FD. Lots of unknowns but one thing for sure, both teams has plenty of playmakers and FD has already proven they can go into hostile territory and bring out a win...Ask Trinity.
  15. Frederick Douglass too much for Corbin. But I do think it will be more a defensive game.
  16. Jackson County making headlines... Awesome!!
  17. One thing I see is Corbin at least scheduled Frederick Douglass. We all know they are in the top 3 no matter who you ask. That’s note worthy in itself.
  18. I'll be shocked if Pulaski scores.
