I wouldn't say CCH's 11 out of 17 record against Cooper truly reflects this matchup. Sullivan building a program from scratch, where they didn't have a winning record until their fourth season has to be accounted for. Even then, they were 16-15 that year. With that said, we're really looking at a 7 and 6 record in CCH's favor, if you take out Cooper's first 4 seasons. Definitely not as lopsided as you originally stated.

If the guy is a good, all around role model, then that's great for these kids. If this is just about basketball, and he's their handler, then I'm not sure how I feel about it. Kids these days need people in their corners that have the kids best interest at heart. Hope they stay at Newport, as I'd love to see them progress over the next 3 years.

Officials did a pretty good job for 31 minutes, letting both teams play a very physical game. Two large calls after the 31 minute mark that, IMHO, affected the outcome in this one. 1. Missed goaltend call with 9 sec left, on what should have been an and one. Video out there appears to confirm my observation. 2. Block call on Hamilton with 3+ to go in OT. Israel attempted to Euro between two Conner defenders, and ran over, a set, Hamilton. Again, this is based off my observation, in real time, with a video to backup missed goaltend.

Isparo is not even the best player in the 35th, but still a great player. Cannot and will not play at the level Meyer or Sheppard will once all is said and done. BTW, not a Meyer fan, but have seen both play, and that's my expert opinion. ?

The seniors on HC's team this past season were some of the best role players I've seen in a while. They did all the dirty work and more. They will not be easily replaced.

Could be a mistake if Beechwood does not throw Berger vs Dixie, as Dixie will definitely have their best out there.
