Honestly did not know the RPI is this flawed. Can the same be said for football, if so yeah need a bit of an overhaul.

If they can continue to play inside out they will be a really tough out for any team I believe. Especially teams that don’t have the size to matchup, kinda like todays game were they made it an emphasis. I think a couple of their losses people have stated they could have continued to pound it in and they didn’t.

Dream draw for GRC, seeing Reed in that environment since he hasn’t ever been might not be something you wish for though. Whoever comes out of the bottom bracket is gonna be tested that’s forsure. I see it in the semis, 7v9 and 10v6.

I still think the size of Male and a few other teams are gonna be difficult for GRC come tournament time, especially when you match that with the guard play a couple of them have. On the bigger court it’s gonna be hard to double team guys like Glenn and Rylee in the paint.

Yeah should walk away with it, they just better hope they get a favorable draw at state. Because running into a top team in round 1 id be concerned, their whole second half schedule isn’t the greatest. Honestly they have only played 5 or so In state teams that have been close games, some of that is how good they are but some of it is scheduling as well. It will be interesting forsure.

Yeah I wouldn’t say it’s something he goes to but if it the defense is giving it to him,I believe he and the team is comfortable with him doing it especially from mid range. Idk if that was the case the last couple years, regardless still a paint beast that is rounding out his game!

I beg to differ, I been to a couple games where he has knocked down quite a few jump shots. Mid range he has been really good and I’m sure his 3 point total would surprise you. You can tell they have worked with him in facing up, getting in triple threat and shooting over smaller defenders. Especially in that high/low they like to run with Rylee.

I think he would make the varsity roster and sophomore year take over for Ipsarro. Him and Nolan Ruthsatz wouldn’t be a bad start in the backcourt. And it’s not always about where you can get on the court the quickest, it’s about who’s pushing you the hardest and what your going up against. Then when the time is called most of these athletes will be ready.

For the duration of his career or since your saying he’s not ready would it be a situation where he eventually goes? Kid is really good and plays on a talented AAU team, I think everybody thought he was CCH bound because the development and chance to play on the biggest stages. Idk how much of each your forfeiting at Beechwood it’s definitely some though. Also know football is in the equation too, he’s just heck of an athlete who many around would love to see his potential maximized!

Do we know if Cash plans on staying at beechwood? Know he played for a little known rival up the street until this year, wondering if it was another CVH situation.

Boone has open enrollment, most kids going to Ryle lean football. Connor and Cooper get most of the basketball players, been that way for a little bit now. There is so many options in NKY, the player they are getting compared to most other big schools isn’t on par. Demographics throughout the state allow many of the county and other big schools to get all the athletes in their area

I think the system CCH has, there PG has played similar throughout the years no matter who it is. I’d say he’s very comparable to Nick or Disken, but around 6’ and id say more athletic than the other two! I believe he looks to score more than them as well, but idk if I’ve ever seen anybody control a game like Nick could. But Disken and Ipsarro are a close second and third! Scoring wise he is a better scorer than Hatton and right there with Ohmer when it comes to just getting buckets. Very well rounded in that aspect.

I tend to agree with this. I don’t think they have the horses down low to run with CCH, haven’t watched Ballard yet. But CCH probably has the best combination of guard play and big man play that I’ve seen!

I personally think Hussey makes a bigger impact than Wilson. Wilson tends to turn it over, and isn’t as capable of a shooter. Hussey has some game to him, can knock it down from deep and take it to the hole. Bigger bodied for a guard as well!

What kind of size does GRC have? Just curious how they’d matchup with the size of Ballard, CCH or Male.

Even with a Ballard win, CCH won a tougher tournament(KOB). And just played an amazing game against the 41st Ranked team in the country, with 3-4 potential power 5 players. Game coulda went either way! On paper I see why everyone is talking about Ballard but CCH has been the most impressive so far this year to me.

If they have a couple more shots fall in the second quarter, I really think the Colonels win this game. They won every quarter besides 2nd, and they got good looks just didn’t fall. CCH is number 1 in the state imo, Ipsaro might be the best guard Coach Ruthsatz has had up there and that’s saying a lot. Size, explosiveness, and a ton of skill! When you have arguably the best coaching staff in the state, and you have one of best player in the state usual titles come. Look back at their other two.

Credit to Dayton I was at the game they played way harder and with energy this time around. But the Panthers shot themselves clear in the foot, 3 interceptions and 3 fumbles if I’m not mistaken! I don’t expect NC to make the same mistakes, it will be another double digit win.

Honestly I truly believe the 9th was so good this year, I’m not surprised by Highlands dominate play down there. It could have been the crusaders or colonels as well! What a great year for NKY, I believe there were 4 teams in the top 10 of state at one point in time.

Highlands will be playing on Sunday, and I’d expect to see Ballard. Which I think is the only team with a guy that can somewhat slow him down(Gabe Sisk).

I’d hope teams go back and watch how CCH slowed down Vinson throughout his career, you have to have an athletic in your face defender that won’t play soft(Disken,Stocks).Somebody that can stay in front of him but also rough him up and keep him from his spots. After that you have to have great team defense with length, play the gaps and close out on shooters. Take a step closer to your guy than you normally would and sacrifice some of your help defense. Just a few of my observations watching him live through the years. It’s So much easier said than done, kid is way more athletic than gets credit for and has such a feel for the game. The impact and control of the game he has in second to none!! He could be playing at a level higher than NKU in my opinion.

Dark horse for what? Their district? We both know that’s not possible as their the only non A school in the district. But they just got blown out by CCH last week, so I don’t think you can say dark horse for region.

That seems kinda odd to me since CCH returns majority of their roster. Don't get me wrong Grant, Neil, and Noah will be tough to replace but that's kinda what the colonels do. The staff there is top notch at developing, they have JV guys that would be playing varsity minutes everywhere else in the region. Not all their players they are some stud from "BFE", they reload year in and out most of the time from within. And next year won't be any different, they're rotation is made up mostly of Sophomores and Juniors minus Chandler.
