St. Xavier (OH) and their 1,400 boys should always be great in hoops...and almost never are.  One of life's great mysteries.

Fredrick always compares Chandler Starks to the HS version of Draymond Green. He definitely lived up to it in this game.

How tall is Starks? 6'4"? 6'5"? Is he getting looks for college? Hard to believe he is a junior. Seems like he has been playing at CCH for years.

I believe he 6'5 now without shoes on. He is getting some looks. Yes it does feel he has been there for like 6 years.

I haven't seen him this year. Is he playing on the perimeter more or is he still an around the paint player?

He’s definitely a physical presence on the court. I commented in an earlier thread about him after watching him in a streamed game in the KOB that he could “…go bear hunting with a switch.” ?

Still cleaning up in the paint, has not shown he can shoot from outside.

I beg to differ, I been to a couple games where he has knocked down quite a few jump shots. Mid range he has been really good and I’m sure his 3 point total would surprise you. You can tell they have worked with him in facing up, getting in triple threat and shooting over smaller defenders. Especially in that high/low they like to run with Rylee.

He's 5 of 13 from the 3 pt. line, not bad.  I've been to a half dozen games, I must have missed his good nights.

Yeah I wouldn’t say it’s something he goes to but if it the defense is giving it to him,I believe he and the team is comfortable with him doing it especially from mid range. Idk if that was the case the last couple years, regardless still a paint beast that is rounding out his game!

Agreed.
