Totally agree with you on both accounts.

The top names that come to mind for me are... Wade Davis: McCreary Central, Jeff Jackson: Lincoln County, John Fraley: Pulaski County, Denny Webb: Boyle County, Ryan Young: Somerset, Rodney Woods: Wayne County, Damon Kelley: West Jessamine. I believe the following 8 teams can win the 12th region this year... in no specific order. Boyle, DCA, Somerset, Danville, West Jessamine, McCreary Central, Lincoln County and Pulaski County.

I would love to see that top 20 list.

Spencer Perrin, former Boyle County star. Perhaps the best athlete to ever play in the 12th.

Rumor has it that Barnes played with Boyle all summer.

Wow. Didn’t realize Breathitt had two All-State kids. Impressive.

The same official that called Clark County regional final game against Bracken County officiated this game. That is odd.

Pulaski County has a very good basketball team.

The Patriots moved the ball well at times but could not reach pay dirt until this one was nearly out of reach. Lincoln County’s inability to convert red zone opportunities into points has plagued them in their last two contests. Lincoln will take on the Jaguars of East Jessamine next Friday, in Nicholasville.

Nice win for the Admirals. This was a hard fought contest that came down to the wire. The Admirals had a big time goal line stand inside their own 5 yard line to close this game out. Danville’s overall team speed and strength up front was key in this one.

#12 for Lincoln County also had an impressive game on both sides of the football. Looking forward to watching the Patriots take on the Admirals on the gridiron for the first time in many years next week. Does anyone know the last time these two matched up in football?

Davis is a tremendous football player— as good as there is in Kentucky. High character young man as well.

Lincoln originally drew Southwestern then numbers were put back in the cup. Crazy.

This game should be a dandy featuring two quality basketball teams.

Great win for Coach Crutchfield and the Patriots. They have an excellent opportunity to build on this victory next Friday in Death Valley as the Patriots take on visiting Anderson County.
