Those Ex College Qbs know how to coach. Haddix (Boyle) Evinston (Covington Catholic) Cantwell (CAL) Smith (South Warren) have all won multiple State Championships. I might be missing some but those are the ones that come to mind.

Nothing is going wrong with Boyle County, both of those players love basketball and just like football. I think they both had problems with the Boyle County basketball staff. Boyle will always be a football school. Hager would be behind Seneca Driver in both sports IMO so his move don't surprise me. Let's not forget both of these kids came from previous schools. Guy Turner came from Casey County and Maddox came from DCA.

Franklin County might have the best defense in 4A.

Guy Turner is going to Christian Academy of Louisville. Hearing Maddox Hager might be going also.

Watched the game again and even if Quisenberry scored there was no doubt in my mind Covington Catholic was going to score again and win. This might be the worst run defense I've seen in Boyle County history. Boyle County football has always been stop the run on defense, this team didn't do that at all. Covington Catholic deserves all the credit, they came in with a game plan and played it to perfection. And CC had 0 turnovers.

I said Boyle has had problems stopping running QBs all year. LCA, Taylor and now Covington Catholic had qbs that killed Boyle. Boyle's tackling was terrible tonight and Covington Catholic front dominated offensively. Boyle had some costly penalties and turnovers also. I thought losing Demauriah Brown was huge mostly on defense.

Could you imagine the stats Montavin Quisenberry and Demauriah Brown would have if they played whole games throughout the year. I think not having huge numbers will hurt both of them.

Yes they would. Demauriah Brown, Braiden Baughman, Paul Mcclure, Clifton Yocum, Jakeem Ray, Gavin Rodriguez. They would definitely play with Mayfield, LCA but maybe not O Catholic.

I agree. Boyle better be ready to play. Covington Catholic has played some tough teams outside of there District, I don't think they will intimidated by Boyle, and will want a little get back from last year. Listened to Coach Haddix on the radio this morning and he said Covington Catholic returned a lot of player on defense from last year.

Per Joe Mathis twitter, Frank Parks has resigned.

Covington Catholic better open the offense up this time around, last year they ran QB power almost the whole game. That's not going to work against Boyle. I will say this, Boyle has had trouble with dual threat QBs. LCA Saxston Howard and Taylor County Jaquan Coulter both ran for over 100 yards on them this year.

Coach Haddix wasn't a happy Coach after the LCC game, I do think Boyle's Offensive and Defensive line got whooped in the first quarter and and part of second, I also think the DBs were out of position. I don't see Coach Haddix letting that happen Friday night, and the Rebels will roll 42-14.
