This was a really good game to watch. Both will be dangerous if they make it to the region tournament.

Per twitter Jarius Bryant had 40 points for Danville. Somerset was led by Ben Godby with 31 before leaving the game early in the 3rd qtr with injury. Indred Whitaker also did not play for Somerset. Jalen Dunn had the best dunk I've seen all year, look on Danville basketball twitter if you would like to see it.

I guess the same place they got the other 2 kids. He'll be eligible next year. Heard he will be a Sophomore. They will start 6'10, 6'11, 6'6, 6'3 and 5'10 next year.

DCA just got another 6'10 kid today.

Somerset has beat 2 teams with winning records. Good thing they play in a terrible District 😂

Yeah the same Rockcastle team that Danville and Boyle beat by 20.

DCA won at West Jessamine. Beat Madison Southern. DCA plays good competition. No cupcakes like other teams in the 12th. Like Somerset.

Boyle County and DCA have played a well tougher schedule than Somerset. The 45th is the toughest and best district in the 12th region.

Somerset is not beating DCA, Boyle or Lincoln full strength. Danville had them down 25 neutral site so miss me with that!

How would Somerset and Mccreary Central do in the 45th District? Danville beat both Somerset and Mccreary Central this year. Somerset has one good win against Pulaski County, that's it. They beat Boyle earlier in the season without Jaekie Tarter or Montavin Qusinberry. Somerset don't have DCA or Lincoln on there schedule. Mccreary plays DCA last game of the season. Somerset really hasn't played a tough schedule, playing Somerset Christian 4x a year is not saying much.

Davis, Jackson, McKinney and Young in that order.

According the khsaa they lose one senior next year. They should be good the next couple of years. Ellis there leading scorer and rebounded is only a Sophomore.

I heard Coach Hamlin's seat is very very hot. I alo heard a lot of kids are thinking about moving to DCA next year if he's back on sidelines. I do think its time for a change.

Maybe he was just getting over the flu, all I know he was playing sick. It made a difference because he had to come out a lot. I'm sure Coach Jackson made sure he was good to go before putting him out there. They game didn't decide anything, Lincoln is still the #1 seed and Danville is the #5 seed. They might meet up again in a couple of weeks in the tournament.

Probably because he wanted to play on senior night. Obviously he felt good enough to play.

Danville tried every way possible to give that game away. Ads need to take some notes from Lincoln County on how to hold the ball for 3 minutes.

Lincoln is still the favorite to win. Alcorn played with the flu. Danville did a great job on Simms, Nuchols and Ralston. Will Bishop played some big mins tonight. If I'm Ed McKinney I'm playing through Barnes and Bryant the rest of the year. Those 2 are clearly the best two offensive players they got. They played some great man to man defense tonight on Lincoln. If you take away the 3 ball from Lincoln County you can beat them. Boyle and Danville both done that.

Coach Ryan Young might finally get out of the District, I don't think he ever did at Garrard County.

I got DCA vs Lincoln in the District Championship. I don't think Boyle can beat DCA. We shall see!

Friend of mine said Jaekie Tarter has 13 points 21 rebs, and Montavin Qusinberry had 16 points 12 rebs. Qusinberry getting 12 rebs to me is more impressive than Tarter getting 21. 5'8 Guard getting it done. That's all heart. My friend also said Danville played a great first half but couldn't get anything done in the second half. Jaylen Dunn had 24 points to lead Danville.

I don't see Boyle County beating DCA in the 45th District tournament if they play in the first round. I got Lincoln and DCA coming out of the 45th this year. They have everything you need to advance. DCA went to West Jessamine earlier this year and beat them. I love that Coach Story is playing man 2 man defense now and got away from that 2-3 zone. I can't believe Danville has only won one district game. I can't figure them out, other than they don't know how to win close games.

Only bad thing about Danville is they will have to beat Garrard County and Lincoln County to get to the Regional tournament. I don't see that happening. The team I like is West Jessamine, they have played a tough schedule so they will be battle tested. Mccreary Central is another team that's playing good basketball at the right time. DCA when healthy is my dark horse. I can't wait until District tournament time!

Boyle County plays 2 8th graders on varsity. So I agree, don't know how much this really means, but congratulations to Somerset. Coach Ryan Young has some talent coming up for sure.
