Boyle County plays 2 8th graders on varsity. So I agree, don't know how much this really means, but congratulations to Somerset. Coach Ryan Young has some talent coming up for sure.

I think Garrard County and Danville will play in the 4/5 game with the winner more than likely playing Lincoln County. DCA and Boyle County will more than likely be playing in the 2/3 with the winner advancing to the District Championship. I got DCA vs Lincoln in the District finals. I think Boyle, Lincoln and DCA have separated themselves in the 45th District. Garrard County and Danville might peaked too early in the season. Lack of size is the main reason Danville won't advance and Garrard County relies on one player to do everything. I was always told if you got a great post presence and PG you have a shot to win in February and March! DCA has both, Boyle has both, Lincoln has both when healthy, Danville lacks both and Garrard don't have a true PG.

What. A. Game. DCA Grayson Dominion absolutely destroyed the Ads with 26 points 9 rebs. Big Lua for DCA didn't play tonight. Demauriah Brown led Danville with 24 points. DCA handled Danville's press way better than the last time they played which led to easy buckets. I think Danville should've went to zone because DCA was driving the ball at them at will. Dut especially was. Good game to both teams but I think DCA is the better team and would win if they played again in the District tournament in my opinion.

I don't think they have the horses to press like they should. They lack good backup guards. When you take out Bixler and Brown they don't do well when they press. Those 2 kids are fast, Brown being very fast and cause havoc.

When Danville presses they are a great team, when they press and are hitting 3s, they are a dangerous team that I wouldn't want to play. I watched the replay and Danville was all in Garrard's uniform all night. The Bixler kid is the unsung hero for Danville, he gets no credit, but he plays his butt off every single time I've watched them play.

Tramane can definitely play at the NAIA level and get his college paid for!

Was just told Owen Barnes had 33 points and Jarius Bryant had 31. Also heard that Fugate played tonight. Cooper had 20 points and Sulla had 19.

Tramane Alcorn had 31 points, controlled the game. DCA is a team I wouldn't want to play in the District tournament.

Reed Sheppard is a 5 Star guard, he's the best player in Kentucky. Stop all this he's going to Kentucky that's why he's going to win it. Reed plays against the best players in the County every summer during AAU and dominates. Ipsaro is from Ohio, he's not getting it. Remember Rondale Moore.

I think it's time for DCA to trash that 2-3 Zone. Good teams are shredding it. I think they have the personnel to play teams man to man.

Close first half but Lincoln County way too much for the Ads. Jackson Simms lit up the scoreboard shooting the 3, Colton Ralston was solid and Tramane Alcorn was solid. Both teams had key players out, Danville had leading scorer Owen Barnes and Lincoln County had Will Bishop out. I think the player of the game was Blade Nuckels for Lincoln County, he has been solid since the injury to Bishop. Danville looks totally lost without Owen Barnes, they need him back ASAP, the got killed on the glass and they just don't look like a good team without Barnes. I think in District games you need to shrink your bench, the Ads are still playing too many players, maybe they was looking for help with the absence of Barnes. Ads at Boyle County Friday night I can only imagine how many rebounds Tarter will have. Congrats to Lincoln County they are by far the best team in the 12th region!

Toughest District in the Region hands down. Other than Pulaski and West Jessamine, no other team has a chance to win Region. Just think 3 of the top teams in the region won't even make the Regional tournament.

How is 14-5 inconsistent? Danville don't really have a bad loss.

Somerset will most definitely have the home court advantage feeling, it will feel like a road game for the Ads. I think that might help Somerset pull off the win. Danville is more athletic, but the Jumpers got better shooters. If the Jumpers get hot from the 3, Danville could be in for a battle.

Lincoln County wins by 10 or more. Lincoln County is a tough place to get a win. This Boyle County team is decent but nothing like the past few years. I will say this nobody on the floor will be working harder than Tarter from Boyle County. Kid plays hard every minute he's on the court.
