A good old fashioned barn burner in Stanford tonight.  Lincoln co was up 9 with 2 mins left in regulation, and Pulaski Co. stormed back!  Sawyer Robbins made a layup at buzzer to win the game ultimately.  Kade Hargis DNP for the Maroons, and Lincoln’s starting center was out. 

Cash Baird was sensational tonight off the dribble.  Kid is a good athlete and finisher in transition!

It’s getting late for Pulaski. With this loss and their previous game loss to Mercer by 12, are they really top 3 in the region? I didn’t see either of these games but not the results I would’ve expected from them at this point in the season.

They're trying to work Carson back in, and he's clearly not at full strength.  They were humming along before that (with Hargis running the show).  I think it has impacted them the past two games.  Hargis was not even there last night, so assuming he was sick.  TO me, he's been there best player since Carson initially got hurt in Jan. 

Winning at Lincoln Co. is never an easy task.  And, I don't have their stats in front of me but they missed so many FTS in the 2nd half.  It felt like watching they missed every single one late.  I would still have them 3rd personally behind DCA and Mercer Co.  But, there are a handful of teams that could easily be in that spot.

That’s a good point but Lincoln missed a lot too.  Late in the game the announcers said they were something like 1 for the last 5.

Pulaski has a lot of strengths but they lack quickness.  Hargis is definitely quicker than Carson so he helps in that regard.

They didn't miss as many as PC.  My point being a 2 PT loss @ Lincoln is not a bad loss.  I watched this PC team a lot during their 8 game winning streak, and Hargis has been outstanding as a defensive PG (which is probably his greatest benefit to this team) and a quality jump shooter. 

I was shocked by the lack of crowd for this one.

Why did they play on Wednesday night? Was this a makeup game? Attendance at regular season games on Wednesdays rarely is as good as other nights. Tournament games are a different story.

True but this was desolate for a big time matchup.  Maybe 6 students in the SS!
