I think the coaches did a good job overall with this one.  My ONE big omission is Hagan Preston from Mercer Co. not being on it.  He has been excellent for the Titans on both ends of the floor this season. 

Cash Baird from Lincoln has been playing well as of late.  I'm not familiar with his performance over the course of the season though.

I've not seen all of the players on that list but of the ones I have seen they are all deserving.

Definitely a good list and someone always gets left out, but Preston is really solid, especially on the defensive end.

I agree it’s all and all a pretty good list. Preston for sure could be there as well as Baird from Lincoln and Baker from SCS

Baird has been lights out as of recently, so good call there!  I would sub. him and Preston in for a few, but these are always hard.  Usually, always 18-20 for a team of 12. 

8 out of 12 Juniors.  It looks like the 12th region will have quite a few quality players next year.

I think you'll see a better overall region with more parity at the top next season.  But, probably not the top end team like DCA.

I think Hunt is actually a senior and Driver is labeled as a junior but is a sophomore but yes a lot of returning talent.

Of the seniors, are any of them getting any college interest?  

No Tre Paige from Danville. Kind of wild. Averaging 19 and 6.

They're 5-16, have lost 12 in a row before beating a really bad Nelson Co. team last night.  Tre is a very good player, but I think the coaches value other stuff besides scoring PPG avg.  And as always with these things, if you're going to add one you have to drop another.

I get it, but it's also a team based off of individual play. 2 of his teammates, who were starters, transferred to other schools. Was just making a comment since others were able to voice their opinions about other players left off the team. Just thought he could have some argument for being named. I'm guessing you didn't vote for him by your comments?

I like his game for sure.  And you're correct, there are external factors out of players control.  These things often turn into blasting the players that made the team, and those who vote.  Reality is, there are probably 18-20 that reasonably deserve it and only 12 can make it.

Baker is a good one too.  Kid has shot the lights out from 3 all season long!  close to 47%!

All tournament, district, and region teams always leave someone out. It's part of it. It's human error. The human element in sports is, in my opinion, is one factor that makes sports awesome. It gives people topics of discussion. Just simply wanted to state that him not being named to the team was surprising to me.
