A great game!! Seneca Driver was unstoppable and Somerset has 2 of the best shooters in the Region. 

Also Demauriah Brown is the best Athlete in the 12th region. Wondering why Ryan Young got a technical late in the 4th qtr.

Really well played game.  Both teams battled hard.  Could see these two matching up again on a neutral floor very easily.  Driver was sensational and super active tonight.

Saw some Somerset fans questioning that call as well on Facebook. Photo one posted shows the official that called the T was the on farthest away on the opposite side of the court.

Was the technical deserved or did the ref hand the game to Boyle?  It should take a lot to get a technical in that situation.  Let the players decide it on the court.

I think the correct response would be...Somerset didn't execute late game situations well up against scramble defense, but that their center was probably fouled on the layup attempt down 1 with 30 secs left (but he still has to make it).  And during the ensuing TO on floor, Coach asked a question while the official was lingering over their huddle that is a judgment call.  I don't think it was warranted in the demeanor that was displayed in that situation.  But, Somerset had multiple chances to close the game out.

The possession before the tech Somerset had a blatant double dribble that wasn’t called. Didn’t feel like anyone got the game handed to them. Was a good game. 

Just as an outside observer, it seems that Coach Young gets a lot of T’s at really bad times of the game for his team. Seems like when the game is under 5 points that you have to stay away from anything that could potentially hurt the outcome of the game for your team.

Heard there was a big tech called late in DCA/Boyle game today as well.  Boyle people give some details please.  Maybe it’s not the coaches that are the issue.

Coach young was not loud, demonstrative or use any language in any of these instances.  Let the kids settle these games late. It’s not about the guys in stripes IMO.
