Paducah Tilghman 49 John Hardin 14

Featured Replies

Tilghman came out blazing and led 28-0 in the blink of an eye. John Hardin cut the lead in half and scored both their touchdowns in less than 2 minutes early in the 2nd quarter.

From there there were no scores the final 8:38 of the 2nd qtr and JH absolutely dominated time of possession in the 2nd and 3rd qtr. They picked up enough first downs to keep the Tilghman offense on the sideline a huge majority of that span. Good gameplan, but hard to make a comeback that way.

PT struck quick early in the 4th and was able to put this one away.

John Hardin gave PT what they needed. They are a good football team.

How many yards did the JH stud RB have?

Not sure. He broke a couple big runs, but the defense did their job for the most part. I'm curious to see what he ended up with as well. I did enjoy watching him, he's so smooth.

I was watching the stream and have talked to multiple people that were at the game and they have told me Cavalli has had a knee injury all week. My understanding is that he is going to get treatment now that the season is over. Incredible season and toughness. 3,000 yards in one season is unreal.

Very proud of these seniors. 4 years ago, JH was at a much lower place. Seniors took the lumps and have restored some confidence and faith into the Dawg faithful. They aren’t fully back but they are getting close. Tighlman was the better team tonight.

Start of the game was a nightmare (as it has been early and often for the Dawgs this year). They settled in and got better as the game went on. Critical mental errors (drops and holds) kept this one from ever getting close. JH has LOTS of talent coming back but will greatly miss these seniors. Good luck to PT rest of way!

Roll on Blue Tornado!!!

Unfortunately Cavalli was not full speed. His knee was injured last week against Warren East. The fact that he even played was amazing to me.  We also had two other key starters sitting this one out. Tilghman has a ton of talent. I really am proud of the fight of our team all season. Hopefully playing a team the caliber of PT will help us next season. Good luck to all the teams the rest of the way.
