The Dixie-St. Henry was a battle!! To start, Tyler Bolte, a stalwart senior midfielder was on crutches, a big loss for the Colonels. Game went back and forth. Dixie opened the scoring in the first half but a little later a St. Henry strike in the box appeared to be a score when a Dixie defender cleared it away with his arm, resulting in a PK, which was successful, tying the game at 1-1. This also resulted in a red card dismissal for the defender and Dixie played the remainder of the game with 10 players. However, St. could not take advantage being a man up through remainder of regulation and 2 five minute periods of extra time. With the score tied after the initial 5 rounds of PK's, the Dixie keeper stopped the Crusader 6th attempt, followed by the the final Dixie player connecting for the Colonel victory. Congratulations to both teams on a a hard fought effort and best of luck in the upcoming regional tournament!!

The free kick goal that tied the game was by Donovan Lamer, not Bolte. (sorry for the mistake).

Saw the game, it was very exciting, especially for Dixie! Trever Boltte's goal, that tied the game at 2-2, was on a an unassisted corner kick, and the game winner was a header off of a corner scored by Lee Turner in the final second of the game. Dixie was not at full strength either, Eli Lawson, a normal starter did not play! It was definitely a hard fought game.

Wasn't at the game but the missed handball is a mystery to me. You accounted for the ref and one AR but the other AR should have been even with the ball, especially if the alleged touch came off a corner kick. You didn't mention where he was. No idea what really happened but your account doesn't makes sense to me.

I actually knew it several days before I posted it but felt is was not my story to tell. I had conversations with Jeff and Brendan and both confirmed the hiring. Jeff plans to continue to be involved in the program in some capacity but not as a coach.

Strong rumor is that Brendon Stowers will be the next head coach at SK.

At this point I would have to say that Texas A&M is performing better.

That makes sense, I knew he played at both schools, but wasn't sure where he started.

Remember him from his Scott days, RIP Coach. My condolences to his family.
