The #3 seed Cats will take on the #2 seed Vols tomorrow for the 3rd time this year in the SEC semifinal game at 3:00pm on ESPN.

I think Tennessee is playing better than anyone in the conference.  I think they win by 4.

Kentucky going to have to bring it tomorrow. Love to get Fulkerson in foul trouble early.

The Vols are playing very well right now I think for the Cats to win they are going to have to get better play from both Brooks and Grady Wheeler had a good floor game over all today but shooting was not very good. If they can play better and everyone else plays as they have most of the year I take the Cats by 7.

As these tournament games go on, I think last night against Vandy is a preview of what players get minutes. Mintz played more than Grady. Toppin played more than Brooks. The tougher players got more minutes. Matchups and a hot hand offensively may change that game by game. But I expect Mintz and Toppin to get the tough minutes and end of game minutes.

I was happy to see Cal adjust rotation and minutes like he did. I worry he will be too loyal to his season long rotation. This roster is filled with players with clear strengths and weaknesses. Cal will need to adjust game by game the rest of the year to get the right players the right minutes.

Grady's weaknesses were on full display against Vandy. The player I keep thinking of when thinking of Grady's game is Cameron Mills. Grady is a better version of Mills. If he can't get three pointers, he is a borderline plus/minus player.

As you know I been a big Mintz guy all year, and believe he needs to be in especially at the end of games. However, unless I am wrong. I believe one of the big reason why Mintz got a lot of Grady’s minutes was because Grady was in some foul trouble at points in the game yesterday. I think that may have been the reason for Cal doing that yesterday. 
 

Completely agree on Toppin. He simply is a better player than Brooks IMO. Quite honestly I think if Toppin stays and gets the chance to truly play 30 minutes a game next year. That he has a chance to go off and be one of the best players in the country next year. His game has so much potential and he has started to show it at flashes, but need to be able to be allowed to play more.

I don't recall the foul trouble on Grady and I hope you are wrong. Grady got abused yesterday on defense. It looked to me like Mintz was getting minutes because of that.
