  1. Rick Massie has long been a piece of work IMO. This should surprise me but doesn't.
  2. Here's why I voted yes. I had a church member some 20 years ago that was a K-9 officer. He was in pursuit of a man who fled in his vehicle from a felony. My friend got out and followed him into a wooded area. His dog, Bodi, went ahead to find the culprit. Bodi crested a hill prior to Tim and a shot rang out. Bodi was killed instantly. Tim returned fire with the man and the man was wounded in the leg. After an hour or two of negotiations by Tim, the man surrendered. Bodi took the bullet that was meant for Tim. Had Bodi not been so well trained and protective of Tim, the man would have shot my friend when he crested the hill. Just my opinion on why I say yes.
  3. The Shelby Farm was used for some scenes. My Great Grandfather later bought the farm and mansion and had it til the early 70's.
  4. These are all debatable in my eyes: Nate Archibald Nate Thurmmond Dolph Shayes Bill Sharmin Bill Walton Robert Parrish Possibly: Dave Bing, Lenny Wilkins, Sam Jones
  5. Somewhere the ghost of Hector must be furious while ghost of Menalous must be smirking.
  6. Wonder if anyone has checked to see how close Danville is to being on this list.
  7. Obviously I am not being clear. The argument is often made here that Media wants to stir the violence. It's an argument with valid points to support. My post was noting that in this case, CNN edited out the inflammatory rhetoric. Therefore this is a poor example of the premise touted in my first sentence.
  8. Imagine how many more they would have if not for Danville.
  9. Whereas you raise good points about this theory, this example would not be one. CNN obviously edited the video and didn't show the call for violence in the suburbs. So in this case, the media edited the statement and presented the call for calm and not the woman's call for violence. :thumb:
  10. I remember many a classic Boyle vs Harrodsburg match at that field. Of course that was a "long, long time ago; in a galaxy far, far away." :sssh:
  11. Louisville has 4 schools on the list: Trinity, St X, Central and Male CKY has only Danville and Boyle (depending upon where you draw the CKY line I suppose.
  12. Saw very little love for Art Shell who was dominant in opening holes for the Raiders. Was instrumental on 3 Super Bowl Winners. Joe Jacoby of the Redskins might garnish some conversation.
  13. Wow! And I thought losing a big Mack Truck was bad enough in Magoffin County. To lose your coach as well? :isurrender:
  14. I had a friend who thought that Sting was NOT singing "Free, free; set them free . . ." but was instead "Feet, feet; suck my feet." :lol2: I would not believe that except I heard him singing it that way one day and had to correct him. (I smacked him in the back of the head :thumb:)
  15. Maybe someone who is very simple in his life. He was 27 years old but possessed the mental faculties of a much younger man.
  16. Pina Colada Song. "If you like making love at midnight and the dews on the cake." Honestly wondered what the world? Later realized it was: In the dunes on the cape.
  17. No. But maybe do a little research before pulling the trigger on a completely innocent person. Maybe communicate with another group that is making the correct arrest at the same time. Maybe not try to fabricate the deceased as some sort of accomplice to hide the mistake.
