Last year Dixie started 4 senior and a soph. 7 seniors played. This game came down to matchups. Meyer nearly had a triple double. Jones and bradfield play wilson tough but wilson still had 22. 11 for Dixie had 3 treys. This game could have went either way. Long season.

if i am not mistaken, dixie is returning one starter (soph last year) and 4 JV players from last year. They also have many great athletes not playing for the basketball team who are walking the halls. This happens at every school.

dhs was led by schwietzer with 15pts / 2 reb. Meyer had 10 points /7 reb/ 5 assists. bradfield 8 points / 4 rebounds. Beechwood is improving.

Congrats to Cooper. Sometimes depth, without a rotation, hurts your team. However this came down to missing easy shots (attribute that to good defense, big game jitters, and just misses). Sullivan will have to work hard for Cooper to maintain that intensity throughout the season.

I believe Carson Newman is a DII School. Big Difference.

Covcath by 15. Even if the jumpshots are falling. Like most teams not named CovCath, Cooper lacks depth.

I heard that Meyer for Dixie sat all but two minutes of the first half. This would account for the close game.

Random - in terms of this list as it relates to NKY, i would agree Crawford should be on. Vonhandorf is too high. Weyer may be better than Wilson but play different positions so 10 is fair. Wilson may be too high.

Best nky players that i say yesterday ( i was unable to see covcath) no order Goetz and big (sh) Turner/Hemmerich (Conner) Meyer (Dixie) Ohmer (Scott) Fries (SK) Mcneil/Kunkel (Cooper) - Other good players but these guys stood out.

Of the guards listed, NCC should be very excited (and I am sure they are) about Moeves at this point than has been mentioned on here. Of that list, he may be the best at this point.

If HHS does not fall in love with the pass and grinds for 4 quarters - they win - simply to much depth. Only way dixie wins is with a + 3 turnover margin.
